this game was really won( or lost) by the tactics. GNF should have put Seth first. as even if Kyle chased him, the next chaser will go their best chaser- Davis. instead they got what we've seen. super happy for HWF. they really improved as a team during the tournament. as well, if you guys will give Awards after the tournament( if not, you should start to! with Best Chase, Best Evade, Best Team Spirit, Best Sportsmanship, Best strategy...whatever else) I'd give Kyle the MVP no matter what happens in the finals( honestly I can't believe anybody can stop APEX from winning the cup).

I honestly believe that Antonio's chase on Davis was to just tire him out. It doesn't really matter if GNF can get a couple of points as long as Kyle or HF's other members can score more. As long as HF tire out Davis, who seems to be the only one who can tag Kyle during this match, then they win. Finals Prediction: APK-G is a solid team but I really don't see them getting past APEX. However, I do hope that it'll be a close match. All of APEX's previous matches were complete blowouts, even they're first match against APK-G during the group stage when they scored 4 - 1.

For once, I don't think it was Kyle Soderman who carried a match. He did excellent, as always, but I think Davis's performance in this match was heroic! He was in for half of the entire match, caught Kyle Soderman *twice* and evaded *twice* and you could tell at the end her had given all he had to give to carry his team. Unfortunately, nobody else on his team stepped up and they had to bow out early. Seth did well too though. I think if he had chased Kyle after Kyle had to evade once, he could've also gotten the tag. That first chase was a beauty to watch. I was disappointed that he didn't get an evasion later in the match. Similar to APK Grey earlier on, we saw both teams put in their strong players a lot and leave their weaker players on the bench. I don't know if this will become a trend in future tournaments and/or necessitate a rule change, but it feels unfair to be able to run Kyle Soderman almost as many times as everyone else combined. I did want to point out chase 10. Davis's route in that chase was really cool. His use of the mountain wasn't like most people use it, where it's a route from the back of the Tilted Cube and Loading Bay just straight over the top, he used it to get some quick height, convert it to speed, and create some space. If you notice, there was only one point where he slowed down in that entire chase and it was near the end. I'm not sure if he should've done what he did or gone around the corner, it's an interesting question, but irrelevant because he had created so much space from darting through spaces where his chaser had to slow down. This was an excellent match. I've been looking forward to this match for a week and I'm going to love these next few ones as well, I'm sure! Will HWF face APK Grey and we see a battle of carries, Kyle Soderman vs Mark Bohles, or will they face Apex and we see their teamwork against the carry style? I think Seth Wang has a good chance of catching Kyle. We'll see what happens these next few weeks!!

oh man, I've been super hyped for the semi-final matches and so it begins!! I've never seen davis and kyle put in so many times (i didn't know you could switch the rotation?), but feelsbad to davis because you could definitely see him starting to wear out after all those chases. you can clearly see that HWF is banking on kyle, but major props to miguel for the double to keep them in the lead! hope kyle and HWF get to rest a bunch before their next match because they're definitely going to need it. kyle's seriously insane though. i love the way he runs (small steps and looks like a low center of gravity for balance) and paces himself; never too close to the chaser but always keeping a solid distance away. he's got superb stamina (which he'll definitely need if/when HWF runs into apex) and you can see how fast he calculates his pathing and the chaser's distance and pathing. the hype only gets stronger from here on out!! probably the only way that other teams can get HWF out is if they tire kyle out because HWF keep putting him in to chase. anyway, great match, great strats and evasions, and i can't wait to see the other matches!

So I watched this thing three times and here’s what I’ve got: GNF lost because they didn’t let Soderman go first. Soderman is a stamina player, and they thought Vasconcellios could get into his head with the Ice Man persona. Instead, Soderman’s cool won out and gave him the chance to get a point on the board while Davis was catching his breath. Davis was the player who could chase down Soderman. They lost two rounds and a point before he could do it because they gave themselves the intuitive advantage and it backfired. The other major part of this is how morale and the score took a nosedive with Diaz: (1) Hand on hand DTR, but Davis is an amazing sport about it. And (2) Diaz got a looooong breather during that DTR and Porter was an instant too late for the buzzer with his tag. Both of these contribute to Bear’s outburst/bad sportsmanship in chase 8, which is when things really start going downhill. I can’t say I blame him for being frustrated, that spike was brutal. It just makes them look like really sore losers. Finally, after a good few rounds off its child’s play for Soderman to defend their lead despite the ground they manage to gain. They just kept Ice Man to save them despite his obvious exhaustion and sadly it’s the thing that allowed the reigning champs to be taken out by my favorite underdogs. This tournament just keeps gettin’ better and better...

I think there needs to be a limit on how many times you can use each player. While I like seeing Kyle. It’s kinda weird to see him over and over and barely see other players.... You should have to use every body once before going back. At the moment the best team doesn’t matter. It’s who has the best stat player

What a war! This was one of my favorite matches because there was such a story to it. GNF was doing everything in their power to stop Kyle but they just couldn't quite do it. I've been a Hollywood Freerunners fan from the first match they were in, and I've wanted to see Kyle Soderman vs Mark Bowles for weeks. I'd pay to watch that. *Fingers crossed* it's in the Finals!

Kyle tags Davis in Chase 1! Kyle evades Seth Ruji for the second time! They change Julius to Davis to try and tag Kyle! And the plan works, Davis tags Kyle for the second time! Miguel tags Davis! Miguel evades Jake! Jake looks like his moving so heavy not like in WCT 4, he moves lightly! Julius almost tags Miguel but Miguel evades Julius for the second time! Bear stops and tags Miguel for the second time! It seems like Kyle & Davis being send back and forth on the quad! This seems like Deja vu! Kyle tags Bear for the second time, What happens in their Group A Game happens here slight! But instead of Seth Ruji they sending back Davis to try and tag Kyle for the third time! And Davis tags Kyle for the 3rd time, Davis could be Kyle's weakness! Davis evades Antonio, this is the first time Antonio couldn't make the tag! Davis evades Dale for the second time! Justin tags Davis, Davis looks so tired and it looks like his the only Athlete of GNF who's been moving in this game! Seth Ruji tags Justin but Hollywood Freerunners sendin' back Kyle again! And Kyle tags Seth Ruji but instead of Davis, GNF sends Jake, Davis is too tired! And Kyle evades Jake! Damn! Two of my Favorite Team of WCT USA, this is hard for me to see GNF fell short but they can still be a 3rd Placer on Play-Offs! So Hollywood Freerunners are on the Finale and could face the winner of Semi-Final 2 | American Parkour Grey v Apex 2! And GNF would face who ever get defeated in Semi-Final 2 | American Parkour Grey v Apex 2! great job by HFR. nevertheless, when seth comes on - boss music plays (but even bosses gotta be beatable, or else it's no fun to play the game!). but it's crazy how much davis has kyle's number! and the weirdest part: watching certain parts of this match, someone could assume that Seth can't score, and that Kyle can't evade...and that's just crazy talk.

Seth is, no doubt one of the best OG that had joined the competition since day 1, but it seems he would always lose to the best man. And may be only the best man could beat him. Now the Apex vs APK Grey rematch and the Final is even more hyped.
