Every time I hear what the Break Even point is, the more I’m convinced someone is using these movies to launder money. Look, I like Mackie, but he’s not a Billion Dollar leading man. The movie will likely do well, but if it breaks even I’ll be amazed.

Given the price of movie tickets these days, I don’t even go to the theater for movies I actually WANT to see.

This is due to Bob Iger’s firing of Ike Perlmutter, which was the one who kept Marvel films on budget, on-time and said no to Kevin Feige’s moronic ideas! (his firing was their biggest mistake)

They expect an Avengers Engame Box office on a fourth captain America movie (with a different Cap from the previous movies). You are screwed, Marvel.

I think they ask themselves "how can I lose more money in a film?", make a brain storm and them put everything that they think os the best to lose money in the project.

Just keep the whitebread white and the toasted bread toasted. No need to interchange. There are plenty of great toasted characters.

The thing Hollywood doesn’t seem to understand is that things have a shelf life. The super hero thing was HUGE for awhile. And while it may not be dead just yet, it's not far off. They spend more and more and, even if they make the same as their predecessors, the profit margin shrinks. They have a thoroughbred horse they're riding around the track, breaking speed records but, even when they've ridden it into the ground, they're still using the riding crop to beat it, hoping to get another 50 yards out of it. Plus, Disney flat out oversaturated the market with superhero stuff. That's poor long term planning.

They all need investigating.

Coca Cola learned the hard way that people don't want New Coke, they want Coke Classic. In the same way Marvel fans want Captain America Classic, not New Cap. This is definitely going to be another huge finical flop for Disney/Marvel. And as usual they'll blame the fans and call everyone a racist to cover up their latest embarrassing failure.

They say that money is as addictive as cocaine, is it the same for losing money? Each project is more expensive and they literally don't care.

How much money will this one lose? People that did see Falcon and Winter Soldier hated it, and those that didn’t see the show will be wondering about the new personalities for the two and be turned off by them.

Hey Disney, here is an idea. Make a good movie, and you won't have to spend so much money on reshoots. Also, if your movie is good, it will make money. Stop making garbage movies, and you shouldn't have to remake them multiple times.

Most of Disney’s problems could be solved by having a hard budget that you can’t go over if you’re the producer. So much money wasted because directors and producers just seem to assume that Disney won’t say no when they ask for more cash for reshoots and extra CGI.

We haven't really watched anything mcu since Endgame except Guardians. We tried to watch the falcon tv show, but gave up after "the message" became all too clear.
