Super what? I don’t think so. The ducked Black Caviar and Wise Dan in the Breeders Cup. I find it strange that Frankels owner always brought his best turf horses to run in the Breeders Cup every year, except for Frankel. Strange….very strange I find that to be. They were afraid to get beat by Wise Dan…a gelding, so they kept that plug at home to face the same horses he ran against in pretty much every race. I thought it was hilarious that they avoided Black Caviar like the plague. They made darn sure to avoid that filly. That would have been very embarrassing to have a filly beat their so-called wonder horse. LOL!

@@susanurban5920 The same Ascot sprint Black Caviar won a head Frankel( despite not being sprinter) would i suspect have won if not with his head in his chest certainly comfortably and over a mile it would have been name the distance in Frankel's favour of course.As for Frankel not going to the breeders cup well the fact that poor Henry was dying of Cancer might of had something to with that decision. Indeed i feel sure Frankel would have taken his chance in the Breeder cup had Henry had he been of good health. Lastly Frankel almost broke Ascot's Mile track record in the Queen Anne on ground described as good to soft and that feat alone marks him down as one of the greats .

Yes, Frankel was so brilliant that her owner made sure to avoid running against Black Caviar when she came to England. They wanted no part of her. It would have been pretty embarrassing to get beat by a filly. Then, his owner avoids bringing him to the Breeders Cup to face the gelding Wise Dan. I found that to be very strange because they bring all their best turf horses over every year, except for Frankel. They didn’t want to get beat by a gelding so they kept Frankel at home to face the same horses he faced in just about every race. What a farce. Frankel was very far from great and avoiding Black Caviar when she was in England said it all…. They were terrified to run against her because they knew Frankel would lose. Same thing with Wise Dan….they were terrified to run against that beast because they knew Frankel would lose. He races against garbage all the time in every race. He faced nobody of quality. You people are crazy to the no that horse was anything special. They purposely ducked two great horses because they didn’t want to lose….no other reason to avoid certain horses unless you know that you will lose.

@@susanurban5920 Bit difficult to compare as BC seemed to be a 6F horse and Frankel tended to run over further, so it's difficult to get a level playing field for them. Once you step up to 7 or 8 F, there's often no incentive to drop back down, when bigger prizes exist at 8 and 10 (and 12 !) furlongs. The only timings stat I can see for them both running at the same distance on the same ground shows BC 0.4 seconds quicker, but it means very little, compared with Frankel being rated slightly higher on official ratings. If you compare their ratings at Ascot towards the end of their respective careers, BC was rated at 132, compared with Frankel's two rating there of 138 and 140.

I don’t care about the excuses. Frankels owner deliberately avoided not only Black Caviar but Wise Dan as well. No excuses. If Frankel was that great he would have run against some other horses besides the same ones over and over and over AND his owner would have brought him to America for the Cup…like he does every year with his best horses…just didn’t want to bring Frankel…didn’t want to see the super horse get beat by a gelding or a filly….LOL?

Goldikova was well past her prime at that point…and you know it. Frankel beat nobody but the same horses over and over….boring. They were afraid to run against Black Caviar and Wise Dan. When I learned that they were not bringing him over for the BC turf mile, that made me mad and laugh at the he same time. They hats okay….the mighty gelding hat they purposely avoided running against would have embarrassed Frankel and handed him a devastating defeat. Secretariat was a great horse. They're hard to compare, Steven. Frankel had that burst at 2 furlongs out that's unlike anything I've ever seen before.

Doug ....If Queally had let him loose to run his own race even once, like Turcotte did with Secretariat at the Belmont, then we might have been able to come to a similar opinion, but that 2:24 held by Secretariat for 1&1/2 miles on a dirt track, set him apart up until this day.

I never saw a horse’s owner purposely avoid running against real competition they avoided Black Caviar when she was in England to race and they avoided bringing him to the Breeders Cup because they were afraid of Wise Dan. That I find strange as well. Frankels owner has no problem sending all his nest turf horses over for the Breeders Cup, he just didn’t want to being no Frankel over to get whipped by Wise Dan. I was dying to see Frankel face a real competitor but what does his owner do….not bring him. I was so disappointed. I couldn’t wait to see Wise Dan wipe the track with Frankel but his owner was terrified to put him up against real competition, yet, they always send their horses here every year for the Cup….just not Frankel. They could not handle seeing Frankel lose to a gelding. I was so angry when they chickened out. I could not wait to see Frankel the farce get his butt whipped by a gelding. They also wanted no part of the filly, Black Caviar when she was in the same country. They deliberately avoided running against her because they didn’t want to lose and blemish the record and future stud fee. Frankel was a manufactured farce. He beat nothing of quality….absolutely nothing and his owners were afraid to race real competition.
