Lil mama is a really good actress. She played this role like she didn't need a script. Very natural, and real. All the other actors were good, too. Great movie.

This movie provides a lot of insight abt living in the inner city the daily struggles associated with living in that urban environment. Being from a reservation in the Oklahoma panhandle my experiences are both similar and dissimilar to the scenes depicted in the film. Inner city life has always fascinated me but i would never romanticize the common struggle for survival.

I’m baffed at the ending. At 1:25:22, Tia tells Keema that Peppy played her and took her money. At the end however, she still cool with him, and apparently he teams up with Lance to buy her a spa? Doesn’t make sense to me. ALBEIT, THIS FILM WAS DOPE IN EVERY WAY. Love to all those involved in the production of the film. Keep doing your thing.
