My goodness!! Believe it or not your methods actually worked! My sim on 5s suddenly stopped getting detected and kept saying no sim found even though the same sim was working on my dad's phone and his sim also was getting detected in my phone. Just my phone and my sim had issues since yesterday and I did everything possible from network reset to os restart to force restart changing time and date airplane mode do not disturb mode you name it!! I was all ready to go to the store tomorrow when I chanced upon this video and was thinking seriously banging the phone and tapping it hard just seems a bit too much. But in the end I rubbed the sim card hard and blew into the tray hole hard just the way you showed and this is crazy but the sim is getting detected again 😊. Can't thank you enough!!!!!

thanks for all the efforts. None of these worked for me. I'm using an iPhone 5c on iOS 10.3, and I still get "no service" or occasionally "searching". The Sim is fine, I tested it in another phone. But in this 5c no luck.

Wow, thanks I had to change the scene as my daughter broke it. The sim would not load. After the 3rd fix on this short film, we waited and sim working, like normal. The phone shop wanted to charge us again, to fix the sim. So brilliant Thank you. 🎉

IPHONE 6S SAYS NO NETWORK Go to Settings--> reset --> reset network settings That is the trick that works for me every time. I have an unlocked iPhone 6s and I have to do this several times a month It does not reset the data of your phone it only resets the network and WiFi

Tried all of your suggestions. No luck. The SIM (call it A), doesn’t work - says “No Service”. However, the phone, an iPhone 5s, works fine with another SIM (call it B) Both cards work on other phones! What is the problem? Curious.
