just making an observation, why arent there subtitles if he KNOWS we're here because our headphones are out?

For anyone having a sound problem: such as phone sound not working but when you have headphones in it does. Don't worry, its something called Headphone Mode, all you need to do is get a q-tip and take off half the cotton on one side (make sure it won't fall into the headphone jack) slowly twist the q-tip inside the headphone jack. Have a video or music on so when it cleans out whatever it is the sound will pop on. Hope this helps :)

This didn't seem to work for me but the problem resolved itself about 14 hours later, so it might have helped! Just to say to anyone with this problem - maybe give it some time, and also remember that alarms and phone calls still work, as I was panicking about that!

To those who cant hear, here is the instructions: a( what i did first was I restarted my phone and did this procces while it restarted 1) Get a q-tip and take off All cotton untill it can fit in headphone jack. 2) put it in the head phone jack and start wiggling it around and remove it to see if any lint or dirt comes out 3) repeat step 2 untill the icon disappears For me it was approximately 5 minutes but in the end it worked. Last tip if you got water in the jack, use a paper clip and do it CAREFULLY. No need to thank me thank the creator of this video and I hope it worked :) 👍

"disable microphone" app was closest, but pain having to manually switch back and forth to use BT earbuds. YOUR fix with the paperclip (or thin tweezers in my case) though- spot on perfect fix and everything functions/switches over automatically as it should between the two profiles. Thank you!

I messed around and forgot to take my phone out of my pocket before I jumped into the pool and it might have been at least 10 minutes before I had realized what I had done. Thank God my phone was waterproof. Everything was still working (the phone even had updated to Android 12 right after the incident) except my sound due to my phone reading headphones having been inserted even though they weren't. Whenever I did put headphones in, I could hear things clearly, so I figured I still had a chance to recover sound outside of wearing headphones. This didnt work for me so I'll tell you how I disconnect my headphones 1. Get q tip put it in the headphone hole 2. Shut your phone off 3. Wait over night

XD as I watch this video I put the iPhone SD metal poker in the jack and fiddled it around and I forgot to put my headphones in to hear and so when I was like, OK let's try this again I noticed I was hearing through my phone already lol
