Probably the Mortlock one. I was there in the crowd. But it was also probably the most significant one of those top 10 in that it ripped the ABs game plan apart and put Australia through.

Can't even watch the Bennet try knowing how Scotland got absolutely scammed by the disgraceful Joubert's refereeing immediately after. Scotland should've been in the semi-final, I'll never forgive that ref.

You either love intercepted tries or you hate them. It depends on which side you are supporting. It's actually a confirmation of what all good, prep and then high school, and international coaches drilled into your head. Read the play of the match and keep your eyes on the ball. Great Video. Well done. Great video. 🇿🇦

The Japanese try is quite something. He has to jump to catch the ball, sprint then sidestep a defender then sprint again to lose the two covering forwards n a winger chasing him . Just amazing On another note, Jean de Villiers never managed an intercept try in the world cup? Seems strange

Amazing how many of these Australia were involved in. They can spot an interception opportunity in attack, but can’t see the danger in defence.

So many belters! Japan for the effort it took to score in the end, Georgia for the sheer audacity in nearly upsetting Ireland, Scotland as it's my home nation, but Habana's takes it for me hands down! The anticipation and speed - didn't even break stride - and the fact that SA already had the match well and truly won by this point so he didn't *need* to score either was so impressive!

I am only young about 13 now soon to be 14 I play as hooker and one of my greatest moments was when I was younger about 11 and playing scrum half after a scrum I caught the intercepted throw and boogied it down the field

My best memory was during my country national u18 championship. Just outside the 22. I played a hooker. It was a scrum,my opponent's feed. Somehow I stole the ball,my no 8 got it at the end of the scrum n ran all the way for a try. By the time I came out from the scrum, the try was already awarded. The opponent was totally caught flat footed.

@@mrbecameron Not sure how you think an intercept try is based on luck. It takes skill and timing. Sounds like the old days when you guys refused to use a drop kick to win a game when it was clear you wouldn't score. It took a number of losses before someone put that arrogance to bed. Now you're showing the same arrogance when it comes to intercept tries.

Definitely the Japanese try, he had to beat a couple of players on the way. There's a terrible lack of balance in these videos. What about the Irish interceptions against Wales in their 2018 Grand Slam year that outdone quite a few of these. More than a little bit of bias here I would say...
