What are your favorite foods to get at your local Costco?

When my daughter went to Honolulu Community College, she said when she was broke, she would spend her lunch break at the same Costco you are at walking around several times eating samples for lunch. If she had $ then she could get the hotdog.

i miss the huge calamari containers they used to have. used to have my friends bring a suitcase of them back to the mainland everytime they went home to visit. there is a lot of stuff at hawaii costcos that are not available on the mainland

I think I go to Costco too early so I never see the sample people haha. Cool that it was your first job! I just made the chicken apple sausage for my bbq this weekend, mainly because it was on sale last month haha. Taking poke bowls to new levels with sushi instead of plain rice! Wow you had a Costco buffet when you got home!

I always buy the Bulgogi from Costco; one of favorites! I recommend you add more round onions, eggplant, green bell peppers, and green onions to the Bulgogi. It tastes much better, plus you get more bang for your buck! ;)

Costco in Fountain Valley California sells spicy poke and shoyu poke. Sushi was ok. Nothing special. The poke on Kauai was fresh and delish. Thank you for sharing

I'm from Vancouver, Canada and we only have the stuffed salmon. No poke, sushi or Korean BBQ beef.:( We have a large Asian population here so all those items would be huge sellers. Hawaii has the best Costco!

I haven't tried the stuffed salmon at Costco. We usually get the Salmon Milano With Basil Pesto Butter there. It's really good too! You should try it.

Electric ovens do not heat properly. That is what I noticed when I had electric oven in Hawaii. The humidity plays a role too I think.

Garlic shrimp poke is only available in the Hawaii Costco and I dream about it. We have something similar on the mainland but it’s not the same.

I have never seen poke sold anywhere beside hawaii. How do you compare the poke in costco and foodland. I feel like foodland poke taste better.

You're lucky that your Costco sell rib cap since I've not seen our Costco in CA in our area selling it. Would love to try it maybe when we're vacationing in Hawaii and again don't want to cook while vacationing.

I think the Safeway sushi is better than snow fox. The costco bulgogi is bomb!

Haven't seen like at the Palm Desert Costco. Not sure about sushi. I know the Sam's Club has sushi but it's not very good. The rice is too hard.

Disappointed that Iwilei doesn't have the basic Tokyo Bento Tuna, Futomaki,& Cone Sushi anymore. I like simple basic sushi, not drowned with sauce & crap. Never tried what you brought. Never brought Poke from iwilei Costco, i buy slab ahi make own mix, onion, Hawaiian salt, when there is limu i'd do limu simple. Many poke get too much sesame oil which kills the taste of the fish, i wanna taste fish not sesame oil or condiments.

costco doesn't buy local fish. They fly in their fish so not as fresh & no support for local fisherman
