Tom vs Dale 2 The Sequel, is back. Fast Car Magazine held the polls and you the people voted for Tommy's epic Renault 5 Turbo to be the winner of 2019's Tom vs Dale Battle of the Builds, taking nothing away from Dale's incredible custom Mercedes.
2020 will see the return of the two Meguiar's boys Tom and Dale with 2 all new builds... The question is, who do you think has it in the bag?!

I used to own a rare 3.0 Manual Jag S-Type and loved it - so glad to see people doing these kind of conversions. There's so many cars out there just begging for a decent manual gearbox.

Gearbox is ZF S6-53 from the S-type Diesel. Also used in the Giulia Quadrifoglio, BTW.

That S type R will make an interesting and exciting drive... I had a couple of xj6 manual jags (4.2's) and they went a whole lot better than an auto...excellent work guys

This is a dream come true. My parents had a black on black S type in 2005/2006/2007. Loved that car… drove it to prom. Only thing that was missing was a manual 6 speed trans.

How cool. The lack of a manual trans and limited slip rear end (or Torsen) are the only flaws in the supercharged V8 Jags.

Hi guys!! Awesome!! So good to see this! I’ve got an 03 STR myself. How do I contact you guys for advice on tuning on her? I’ve got my hands on a 10% upper pulley from power house but I haven’t bolted it in yet. I’d like to get some advice from you guys on what else I could do to get the old girl moving better but keep the reliability high and not break anything.....thanks guys!

Out of curiosity dale/ SR what gearbox is it you are using ? Is it an original S type unit or is it one of the newer unit from the XE/ f type etc

I actually emailed them for just a price for the conversion and 3 months on I've still heard nothing back, if that's how they run a business they couldn't be doing too well.
