The Heretics’ Fork was a medieval torture instrument primarily used during the Spanish Inquisition. It consisted of two forks set against each other. One end of the instrument penetrated the flesh under the chin, while the other end pierced the upper chest. The small room you were in is The Chancel, it is a smaller part of the church used for smaller services, daily communion and for Lay Preachers (like an assistant Vicar) or the choir to sit.

Heretic's fork was a torture device consisting of two , two pronged forks held with a strap. placed around the wearers neck, it would stab into their neck/throat and the sternum/chest and moving their head or lower jaw was impossible without adding more pain.

This is the most beautiful church I have ever seen I am a75year old Catholic and it just felt so relaxing an close to God to me. Beautiful orbs I saw one before the one that glowed, the one one that appears to glow also looks to have wings to me felt like an angel to me. No I am not nuts. I think the room your calling a chapel is where they may have held the coffins for funerals and the viewings. The immediate family sat in the pews there the cushions under the pews were used for kneeling during certain parts of the mass. My grandfather was Welsh he came to America and was killed in a mine cave in in 1928. The Same year my mother was born. Anyway Matt I love your videos. Please continue, and also the fact that you don't keep swearing, I am definitely know prude can swear like a truck driver, but hold the line when it comes to using Gods and Jesus name in vain. That was the bigest orb i ever saw! Later it transformed like a floating flare. It looks like a feather but it is someones soul. Fantastic. The lamps and chandeleers are moving a lot of the time. Brilliant investigation Matt & Josh. Heritics Fork is a horrible deadly torture device.

The shadow on the wall resembled the crown of thorns that jesus wore 😊 nice ambiance. Xx Heretics fork was a fork that was used yonks ago in the middle ages..used for torture 😮.Maybe the font was used by the priest to hide his cornflakes and milk 😂 xxx

Fascinating. Just so you know, I absolutely love old buildings and the churches are so beautiful. All the handcrafted things. Everything done by hand with very basic tools. Unbelievable. You got a really good connection with someone. I have a question. When he said drain camera. Do the spirits need that energy from the batteries? Does that even make sense? The second part u guys went into seemed as u said colder and maybe more original and less updated that the other ?? The curtain could have been put up too to conserve heat from the rest of the church when heating as well. I don't know much about the Catholic faith and their practices myself ...I try to learn and read as u guys do these churches by looking into the history .. as I love the history of places.
