You do a great job in all your work and don’t worry, I think I may have overstated things in my last comment. there is an element of creep-factor there, but its minor , and the cool kind of creep - and actually serves as a reminder of what technology was possible back then and how it is now. I think Auto-tune was probably in its infancy at that stage, but I could be wrong. Thank you! I love your user name. Lol! Would you like to know how I got mine? I had a friend who is an older lady and she had about 50 blooming cats roaming around in her yard. Our neighbors called her “the crazy cat lady“. Now, this woman was not crazy at all. She was very very nice And helped me and my husband out a lot when we first moved here. I took the idea for my KZfaq name from her and became “crazy Robot Lady“.

You can get a few more words out of her if you had the book. When you put her fingers to the spots in the “meet Julie“ book, which is the book that comes with her, she will say stuff like, “ Julie,”, “Sweater“, “scarf“, “Mr. bones”, “glasses“ and there is one more word, but I can’t remember what it is. There may be one or two more but there are some words that she just won’t read and I have no idea why. I don’t know what I can do to help with the contact situation. It may be the way I’m placing her fingers too. The spots are rectangular and I assume that there is a little circle drawn in the book and you’re supposed to put her fingers in the middle of that circle. Since I’m blind eye, of course, can’t quite do that. And also, I struggle with Weather to place her fingers on it at an angle sort of like the way you would read braille with just her fingertips or if they need to be flat against it as in at the point where her nails are? I have asked over and over, my KZfaq audience who might be Julie owners how are you supposed to place her fingers? Nobody is really responded, so I guess I will struggle on my own.

@@crazyrobotlady3391 I'm able to telln the difference between the plastic of the fingers and the sensor inputs by feel. if you put the very tips of her fingers on the spots, not flat but almost so that the nails would touch the page, that would probably give the largest area of contact from those sensor points when you try to read the magic spots. If you give that hand a really good feel at the nails, there's a part that sticks out a little more than on the others which is likely part of the contact points that need to touch so she can read.

OK. A couple of things you might try then: Note that I’m no sort of voice coach or actor whatsoever, and I definitely don’t want to offend or demean you in any way. This is just what I threw together for a content creator I like. 1. Keep your yes’s and no’s as short definites. 2. Try to sound decisive. 3. Don’t raise your pitch at the end of a word if you can help it. Some of your Yes’s have question marks at the end of them, so they might come out a little bit like yeh-es. 4. Try talking as if to a small child, e.g. high pitch, excited, think some exclamation points into your speech, if that makes any sense. this all depends on the kind of vocal range you have, so you can only do what you can do; this is bearing in mind how old - if awesome - this tech is. I really hope this all makes some kind of sense, or helps in some way. Thank you for reading my ramblings.
