One thing im glad is that this family mentioned rehab and acknowledged that u cant cold quit heavy addicts, by still maintaining firmness when it comes to abiding by parental guidance

Yeah, the other rules about respect or doing this or doing that are fine, as the kid has full agency to control how cooperative they choose to be in most of these things. But they simply don't have agency over addiction whether it's cigarettes or anything else...surely there should be some wiggle room about the smoking. Fortunately I don't have the experience of addiction, but I'll take people's words on how overpowering it is.

Every episode I've watched so far has proven to me that the parents of these kids need to lay blame when they are not being role models and are not parenting but passing the buck😢

@@user-jp9wd4dd8s u are so right what youre saying has significance to the larger picture, unfortunately with the times, i see this as pur early days of radical “reality tv” so while there was more to what meets the eye, it was purely designed and manufactured for US the consumers to be entertained. Its savage considering the morals pioneering this wavelength.

Yes, they surely know if they're going to be on the show so that makes me wonder if they just pretend to be bad at first and then they get better to go home . I'm not sure, but I think each family received $2,500 or pounds. But I just wonder why they do it. Is it for fame or their parents split the money with them.

I love how these parents act as though they didn’t raise these kids and this happened out of nowhere and they have zero responsibility. They make no effort to admit they are wrong and more than the kid they need to change . This whole show puts responsibility of mending and changing on the children .

Hopefully the kids will be open to learn that the new parents actually care and through structure and disipline it's for the long term goal. Hopefully when their older they look back and seen what an incredible opportunity it was for them. 🙌💗🙏

In many cultures it is seen that way. It seems like the wife is completely in line with this thinking too. It does not seem like anyone feels like they are being forced into anything here.
