This was one of the most exclusive cars there was at Top Marques Monaco. The GTA Spano is quite a machine !
Its chassis is made of carbon and magnesium, all the body is composite materials and carbon fiber.
The engine is a V10 taken from a Dodge Viper, but they added two turbos.
So now it makes 850hp and 960 Nm of torque, for only 1350 kg !
The gearbox is a 7 speed sequetial. It takes 2.9s to go from 0 to 100 km/h (or 0-60 mph) and it will goes to 350 km/h !
The only word to describe how does the accelerations feel is : brutal. It's like a hammer in your back, a kick in your ass ! And the braking is pretty much as savage as the accelerations ! On the first braking, in the tunnel, I lost my sunglasses !
It was an unbelieveable experience to ride this machine. GTA Motors is a small Spanish car company. They make this Spano, a brutal and stunning (or wierd ?) looking car... The sound of the car is basically good but this one was featured with a sport exhaust. We were around Monaco's F1 track for the grand prix. In the tunnel, on the way back to the Grimaldi forum, the driver made some revs (as I asked him) and the result is quite cool, especially for the walking pedestrians !
The price of such a machine ? Well it's not cheap, it's more than 800 000€. I wouldn't buy one, I'd prefer a lot the quite cheaper Noble M600... But that's only a matter of tastes !
