I've had this bar for a few weeks now. It sounds great. The usb charging ports on the surrounds is a nice thing to have. I mounted the surrounds on stands and plugged them to the wall with an extension cord. I just leave them on the stands and don't even bother to connect the to the bar.

Have you had Bluetooth problems with anything you listen to being very static like and broken up? Mostly when going from TV to Bluetooth? Almost like it’s lacking in connection?

@@micahbuckley2091 no I haven't had that issue with Bluetooth, as a matter of fact I've been using it more lately because I was having issues with Amazon music and casting it to the sound bar. BT has been great with my Android phone.

Had mine for awhile now and very pleased! I use the rear speakers in the stereo configuration around the fire pit and have been quite impressed.

I’m trying to use just the TV speakers on my Samsung S90C 77” TV. I also have the JBL Bar 1000 sound bar connected as well, but only want to use the sound bar when streaming movies. For all other TV times I’d like to just use the TV speakers. I went into the TV settings and turn only the TV speakers on, but the JBL sound bar is overriding this setting each time we turn on the TV. Is there anyway to set up the sound bar so that it will only turn on when we turn on our Roku box?

Good review, bought mine for 650 euro’s, however without remote. Bought the jbl remote online but it is not working. Any idea if you need to push special buttons on the remote in order to make it work?

Does it make sense to connect this bar with tv through Bluetooth. Will it give full effect. I mainly watch ott content, for which there is no external input required. Plus there is no av input, will connecting only through arc hdmi still enable me to hear audio of ott channels played in tv directly?

Hey! Thanks for the question. Yes the surround speakers do work when attached to the sound bar. But since they're connected they won't provide the same surround sound effect as if they were placed behind you.

Hi, How this bar compares with Samsung Q990b or Sonos Arc with sub and surrounds? The entire jbl's high end soundbar line has one major advantage ...the wireless surrounds. But older models lack the overall sound quality, voice clarity and so on. They were powerful, the bass was overkill covering all other frequencies and the surrounds were too small to really deliver atmos hight sound. Q990b or lg q95qr have much larger surrounds albeit not 100% wireless. Same with Sony ht a9. Also in my country the price difference is huge ...for whatever reason the Samsung q990b is 740 eur including 19% VAT. All other brands have normal prices in line with US ones..JBL bar 1300 (not X) is 1520 Eur including VAT, JBL bar 9.1 is 920 Eur...same with other brands like bose, sonos, Sony. Samsung Romania has an aggressive price campaign for the last 2 years.

@@cbeattie778 there is a new review on the net that states otherwise. Anyway for a really space constraint situation the jbls real wireless surrounds is the better option. In my case I will go with Samsung just for the much lower price.

@@adrianm1116 samsungs dynamics are pretty good but jbl is just as good. Loud noises sound loud and crisp and clear. every soundbar also has their own sound profile, so its up to the listener if they like it or not. However, for atmos, surround effects, and ambient effects samsung is no longer king. At that point it is just preference and brand loyalty. Let alone 1300x’s subwoofer annihilates 990b’s and 99% of soundbar subs.

I tried the JBL Bar 1000 and could never get the One app to connect. Since I couldn't get the most of it I returned it and will never buy another JBL product again.

The sound bar is pretty good tbh. I bought it on release day and use it daily and it sounds absolutely amazing. Even if this is a video from a store they reviewed it fairly.

Hello Sir! I have JBL 800. With the app I ajusted my equalizer. So do I have to turn on my wireless connection and bluetooth every time I use my soundbar? Or the equalizer setings remain intact even If i don`t use my JBL one app?
