I see the spoils of broken nations
Falling on their knees
I see mad men worshiping
Extinction and disease
I see empty shells of human beings
Pawns for plans of tyranny
Returning to their homes
To bring despair upon their families
And just like this a loved one
will bring
Murder and war
She walked through the door
With naked feet and empty eyes
Her mother's questions
Find no answers
As she walks towards
Her little sister
In a matter of seconds
Shock and horror
Flood the house
As what started as a kiss
Became a display of cannibalism
Brothers’ blood
Running for centuries
Dog eat dog
And all the rest
Mouth full of blood
The Little carcass to the floor
As her father cries
And draws his gun
Fingers shake
Faith and sanity are lost
He proclaims his love
As he puts her down
Like a rabid dog
Oh!
In every home the plot unfolds
And feelings die
Carrying their bags
to their graves
In the cold
I see empty shells of human beings
Pawns for plans of tyranny
Returning to their homes
To bring despair upon their families
We live our lives
Trying to ignore
The bitter end
Convinced we serve
A noble purpose
Or trying to make amends
But we were never able to love
Let alone to love ourselves
Brothers’ blood running for centuries
Dog eat dog and all the rest
So why should it have been
Any different this time?
We were monsters
Now monsters' meat
For the next monster in line
