Soy sauce on your cơm bình dân or cơm văn phòng is ok 👌 Also You should try the sandworms omelette it is very good and delicious only up in Hanoi has it

Using a spoon and fork when eating rice on a plate is best. Use chopsticks to eat rice in small bowls and to pick up food from other plates. Use a spoon when eating rice from a large bowl.

Tớ về VN cũng chả cử cơm hè cháo chợ. Chỉ cần ngon và tương đối sach sẽ. Một ngày ăn 5 bữa, duyệt đủ món đủ quán. Món thích và ăn nhiều nhất là: Cơm Tấm, Bún riêu, Bún bò, Hủ tiếu mì khô, Bánh cuốn. Phở ko thích lắm ăn chỉ vài lần.

Pineapple is dứa (2 sort dứa tây and dứa ta) in the north while the south call it khóm or thơm Coconut is dừa Melon is dưa Cucumber is dưa chuột(N) or dưa leo(S) Fermented vegetable is dưa chua

Silkworm pupa or bee pupae, both of these are nature protein healthy. The texture likes yellow boiled eggs.

Danny: đó không phải là giun mà là những con nhộng chuyên ăn lá sau đó cho một loại sợi dệt làm quần áo đắt tiền. Loại nhộng này vừa sạch lại vừa ngon bạn ạ

Hello Dan And Anna. Happy travelling in Vietnam eating, hiking and walking around Vietnam. My wife and I don’t eat any meat’s skin and fat. It’s unhealthy for us and my diet. But, for your case since you walk alot, I guess its alright for you. Bye..

For the traditional braised pork belly and egg dish, it must have some fat, otherwise it's dry and simply not right. You enjoyed it the correct way, Dan! Plus, you eat and work it out through your long walks, so worries here.

I'm a little bit disappointed in you guys not trying all parts of Vietnamese's culinary cultural experiences. The Vietnamese eats country rat meat, cat meat, dog meat, and snake meat. You deprived yourselves of so much cultural experiences by not trying all of these proteins products while in Vietnam.
