Worry dolls are a beautiful resource from South America. A child that is suffering from worry or anxiety, will tell their worry to a worry doll before they go to sleep. They put the doll under their pillow, with the idea being that when they wake up the worry is partly released.
I have found worry dolls are a brilliant resource for helping children to process worry and anxiety. But how do you use them in the classroom.
In this video I show you my favorite 7 ways of making and using worry dolls. These are all designed for teachers of children between the age of 3-7.
