But what makes you think Paris is a good answer? Paris doesn't end in two consonants (I is not a consonant), it's a capital city instead of a country, and the country it's in (France) ends in a vowel and not two consonants!!!

She seems like she hates her. When she's talking, she rolls her eyes and looks disgusted as if she can't even stand her voice.

I thought that too at first, but watching this again I think she's just thinking in a very visible way, and the eye-rolling is just her scanning mentally through countries of the world. I mean she's rolling her eyes almost constantly, it's systematic, crossing a map. If it was cos she hated her she'd be hamming up the eye-rolls at the slightly cringey things her mate says, but she doesn't really react directly to anything until her answer. It was one heck of a terrible answer though, so if she didn't hate her before she probably does now anyway! (Did it get them knocked out in the end?) I wonder if she got some mental wordjam in her head with the context making consonant and continent get confused,and then she just panicked.

I agree! It was a really hard category. For a geography round, which usually goes down really well, only having 18 possible answers is hard. I think Alexander and Richard felt sorry for her, and that’s why this clip didn’t appear in the blooper episode.

Its a consonant because the y is at the end of the word, and because the word has other vowels. If it didnt have other vowels then it would be a vowel. Now let me tell you why i was wrong.
