Worship Song of Ku Bua Mat (รำบวงสรวงกู่บัวมาศ) performed by Thai Unity Dancers representing Thailand.
Meet the dynamic quartet of Thai women united by the love for Thai culture - Patima Smith, Nong Khamsopa Kahler, Laddawan Galante, and Natalie Falvey. Born in Thailand and now proud wives and mothers in Florida, Patima, Nong, Laddawan and Natalie have journey far from their homeland to build new lives in Jacksonville where they have woven the rich tapestry of high culture into the fabric of our community. As patrons of the arts and ambassadors of Thai culture, they generously volunteered that time to support the Thai community, promoting its custom and traditions.
A heartfelt thank you to Patima, Nong, Laddawan, and Natalie for their elegant and mesmerizing performance, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Thailand. The audience were transported back in time to the Ku Bua Mat sanctuary of the 11th Century during the Bayon period. Their dedication and talent brought the beauty and elegance of Thai traditional dance to life, leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed it. We are immensely grateful for their participation and for sharing the enchanting traditions of Thailand with us! 🙏✨
