Idk why, it weirdly feels like our title challenge's wheels are falling off like it happened to Arsenal in the previous season. For the first time in a long time, we looked as a team of newcomers who lack cohesion and understanding. Credit to Atalanta, they played their hearts out. Scoring 3 goals and keeping a cleansheet in Anfield is huge.

That was a chastening experience! Made even worse by Steve Mcmanos stinking commentary where he almost sounds like he relishes in our failure. Andy, if you're looking for positives, Gakpo showed promise yesterday. He basically was the only one that could retain or get the ball from the opposition. Created 2 big chances. If nothing else, I'm happy for him, cause he's been getting a lot of stick lately. Other than that... I'm still walking around the house in disbelief of what I've seen. Nah the worst performance under Klopp was against Real Madrid in the champions league final where we lost 3 -1. As soon as Salah got injured the players stopped playing. Keeper had a meltdown and Klopp did very little to help. Klopp has done well at Liverpool but I don't think he's a great manager because we would have more silverware to show for it by now for the quality of team that Liverpool are. Like I say a wasteful team

I’m shattered. I’m just leaving this comment without even watching the video, though I might watch it some day in the near future. I can’t even bring myself to read any reports about the match. Simply put, it was arguably one of the worst performance I’ve seen from the team. The number of back passes and side passes was staggering, and when we tried to play forward, we inevitably lost the ball and did absolutely nothing with it. Yeah it’s easy to say this, but I honestly felt Klopp should have started with his best side. Instead he rotated players and Atalanta were all over us, pressing us into mistakes, not allowing us to make any meaningful moves forward, and our players seem to spend huge chunks of the game making meaningless backward and sideways passes. I’d say that Klopp at least must have underestimated Atalanta, or if I’m being truly upset, I’d say that Klopp disrespected Atalanta. Whichever it is, it’s come back to take a huge bite off our arse. It’ll be the real pits if we don’t get all 3 points at Palace this Sunday.

But for some very lucky goals, and some very long injury times, the league would be a two horse race and Liverpool would be fighting with Spurs for 4th. Klopp came in wanting believers not doubters. But this season I haven't been a believer, I've been a constantly surprised doubter. The improvement from last season seemed too good to be true. Every time they went behind I thought "this is the one where the luck runs out". They might still win the league, and or the Europa, but I doubt it.
