This guy punished the entire team, including the 'victim' for the actions of one. Real nice guy. I'm sure the guy who got teabagged feel so much better and safer getting banned.
@DrewG29
@DrewG29 Жыл бұрын
Also, it was never in the rules when he punished them. Almost always if a rule is not clear set in stone and has precedent when it comes to enforcement you will see the organization hand out a WARNING. If the offense is continued after that, then you can dish out petty punishments however your heart desires. It just pisses me off more than anything that he straight up banned them without prior warning.

Not to mention that the real world has people instead throwing punches, elbows, and pushing, AKA actual cases of physical violence. Not to mention all the verbal taunts/toxicity and gestures (i.e. middle fingers and that finger throat slice thing) that happen in every professional sports tournament. This person just has a god complex and is using this made up, on the spot rule as an excuse to force their authority on others.

Wanting to stop bullying to the point that you overstep is something I've seen before. But it is meant to end with them apologising after realising they were wrong to assume the worst from people that were actually friends. If you double down on that, you're the toxic element and need to be kicked out. You do NOT get to tell friends how to talk to each other. That's the kind of behaviour I had hoped died along with Tumblr. Even if we pretend that t-bagging is bad, his behavior still ends up being wrong, him picking something harmless and accepted to act this way over just makes it worse. So, for the sake of argument, let's say teabagging is, in fact, harmful when used in pro-gamer settings. Even in that case, the admin was still in the wrong. Rules need to be clearly stated ahead of time, and rules violations for first-time offenses should not result in an instantaneous ban. A simple warning would have been a much more reasonable option and would certainly have sidestepped all this nonsense.

He's basically just a bully himself, two friends where having fun and he comes along and exerts the little bit of power he ever had in his life to ruin people's good time, he also just ignores context to adhere to his rigid view of sportsmanship and toxicity. Having to walk on eggshells is not fun and definitely not conducive to creating a "Safe space"
