Often, patients suffering from chronic headaches say that they have gone to the emergency room on numerous occasions but the doctors cannot figure out what is wrong or what is causing their intermittent severe headaches and other symptoms. In this video, Dr. Hauser discusses a little bit about thunderclap headaches as a necessary reason to go to the emergency room, as well as how we look at cases from a cervical instability perspective when headaches and neurological symptoms become chronic.
Caring Medical Florida is located in Fort Myers, Florida in the US. We treat patients who travel to our center from all around the globe, however, we do not treat all cases. If you are looking for our team to review your case and possibly see you in our neck center, you can contact us through www.caringmedical.com/conditi..., call us at 239-308-4773, or email info@caringmedical.com.

Cervical instability has probably been misdiagnosed as *anxiety* by most conventional doctors it's a shame

Yep sure does my balance got so bad i had to leave work and use a mobility scooter at the grocery store, doctors wrote off my concerns as sinuses, anxiety, and head congestion come to find out i had compressed jugular veins, intracranial pressure and my neck was off almost a inch

Dr Hauser, I do hope you are attempting to open clinics around the country. None of the specialists I talk with has a clue to what you do. Nor, do they know about the type of imaging your office does. How do we find help when the doktors have no idea what to do? You are the lifeline to hope. Keep it up. We need you.

I foundthese videos a week ago now & I just keep watching as many as I can. I have a straight neck due to an accident almost 20 years ago. It has reeked havoc on my life! I was forced to retire early(48) due to all my issues I was deemed "unreliable" which is absolutely true. I've tried multiple treatments & Dr's to no avail. I now take a plethora of pain, nerve, relaxant,BP,Anti depressant, & now extra vitamins & hormone medications!? About 16 years ago a neurologist studied all my records from the day of the accident right up to my most recent Dr visit at that time. He told me that he was very sorry, that there's NOTHING anyone can do for me & to just do what I can to be comfortable. It was a colossal blow to my sense of self, my outlook at my future... I LOVED my career it was part of who I am, I loved many activities I now can't do as well. I lost hope of ever being close to "who I was" pre-accident. Watching your videos has made me think "MAYBE" I can get some help? But I'm almost afraid to allow myself to believe it. I also live in OK, which is a bit of a trek! Then how long do I need to stay there to get proper treatment? And I'd need to figure out some sort of plan to afford lodging. It's a lot to take in! BUT for the first time in over 10yrs I've felt a glimmer of hope! Thank you for that.

I've had these before. Maybe 5 total in 10 yrs. It was the most scary thing you can imagine. It hits hard peaks and subsides quickly. All the doctors called them migraines! They were NOT migraines! I have migraines it is not that

A loved was brought to the ER (compressive stroke center) with a thunderclap headache, nausea, inability to walk, extreme vertigo. The ER nurse didn't suspect a stroke. Finally 1 hour later, and a lot of yelling she was given a IV. 2 hours later, CTA resulted in neg results for hemmorage, infarct, etc. Iv sreroids x 2 days, somewhat calmed the acute phase. A prescheduled MRI, 2 days after hospital discharged revealed a ischemic stroke, occipital lobe. Finally, a neurologist was provided and the 47yo female was dx w RCVS and given verapimil. The CT scan revealed and what she already new of stenosis and degeneration of the cervical spine. Also, she has a military neck. None of the neurologist will even consider vagal nerve or cervical instability.....We will be touch with Dr Hauser , since this videos content reveals the triggers most physicians won't take the time to research.. thank you for the work u do at Caring Medical.

Hum... could explain my kidney issues that come and go and the Urologist can't figure out. Wondering about my son's migraines...he thinks that they are along the occipital nerve - so occipital neuralgia? I believe we both have CCI. Even though I have learned a ton from your videos, Dr. Hauser, you have me a bit FREAKED OUT with this one! 😳

I about 1time a year will get a headache that is kind of located behind the eyes and more on the right side and it becomes so painful that I can't open my eyes because any light is to painful to take and regardless even if I keep my eyes closed I still end up tossing and rolling on the bed with my face stuffed in a pillow screaming uncontrollably rolling around trying to find relief On a scale of 1 to 10 10 being the maximum pain can take before screaming in panic these are 12 ish and I will scream for about 45min to 2hrs then it fades away pretty fast after that and I usually fall asleep do to exhaustion. I had a BPI back in 2017 and these started back in 2018 .

I'm trying to convince my neurologist that these migraines I've been having are not my usual. Had a nri in 2019 C3 bulge, C4, C5 & C6 root nerve compression & bone spurs throughout msk, spinal surgeon & neurologist have all put this down to functional neurological disorder I'm 100% certain I am experiencing these.. severe head pain at base of skull, can't see, vomiting, sweating, tinnitus... how do I convince my neurologist?

Have you looked into cluster headaches? My ex had these, they would last for a few weeks every year or 2. We ended up finding that oxygen helped, and strong meds. His would start about the same time every year. We’d hire an oxygen tank whilst he had them.

I have had allergic rhinitis for 18 years which started after getting stung by a hornet. When I have sneezing fits of what must be 100 times a day my head is getting thrown back and forth. Could this possibly be the cause of cervical instability?

I absolutely get really bad headaches after a sneezing fit. It definitely feels like somewhere the blood is being cut off but my doctors here in the UK don't care because apparently it's just anxiety.

Can this cause one pupil to dilate too? I get a headache with slight vision loss which prompts me to look at my eyes and I see that pupil slightly larger and my eyelid feels heavy. But when I look up ptosis it says that pupil would constrict.

Does anyone know of a similar service to this offered in the UK or Europe? I am absolutely desperate. I've had a swallowing problem for a number of years now that seems to be causing many other symptoms and dizzyness that feels as though it's coming from the neck. I've had no luck with traditional Ear nose and Throat doctors here in the UK. If anyone knows of a service similar to that offered in these videos I'd be ever so grateful for the information.

I had one in 2006. I was in a yoga class and hyperextended my neck. Not a pain as much as it felt like my head exploded. MRI scans from ten yrs earlier showed mild cervical spinal cord compression, bone spurs, etc and a single C-2 lesion but normal brain scans. New 2007 scan shown that it had now progressed to severe cord compression with a lesion/myelopathy. ALL drs rolled their eyes at me like I was crazy when I described my ''thunderclap'' headache. Seemed not something most drs knew or even heard about back then. Drs couldn't even say my experience of this phenomenon was psychosomatic as a ''thunderclap headache'' was not common knowledge back then. So thinking the patient was crazy or delusional worked, 😉.
