When my appendix ruptured (back in the mid 1980s), I thought I'd eaten some bad eggs. "Thanks" to a high pain threshold, I suffered for _over 48 hours._ Finally I figured I needed my stomach pumped; knowing just Going To Hospital would be pointless (they'd have new waiting for hours), I had an ambulance bring me in. Doctor comes over to me as in lying down, gives a slight press on my lower abdomen and I somehow don't fly up to the ceiling, he calmly declares it to be appendicitis. Having waited so long, I was inches away from peritonitis. I ended up having to say ten days in hospital for recovery. At least Hospital staff was very cool and accommodating, and the nurses all seem to like me, and they allowed me one night to find a window to see the deeply red moon caused by the ash from Mt Saint Helen's eruption...

Similar experience on my behalf, except I was a youngin' and mine blew up while they were scanning me. Told me if we waited like I was insistent on and my Dad didn't decide he had enough of the shit and took me that it very likely would have been fatal. Can't remember the exact time I was in though, y'know being young and pumped full of pain medication makes things pretty hazy. I'll never forget the feeling of that catheter being removed though... That shit will haunt me until my last days.

My appendix ruptured the day after halloween when I was in highschool. No guesses on what I thought it was.

Nah Amanda.. kidney stones are the most pain men can ever feel. I've had it once... literally cried in the hospital during questionings and had to get their strongest drug to ease the pain... every hour for a whole night. It was the worst!

Great video guys! Just a tip: Kidney stones can be various sizes: from sand to a baby's fist size or bigger. If stones are too big and/or too many, you may need to undergo surgery to remove them. Your kidneys hurt like hell and they can get scarred, so you loose filtering capacity in the kidneys. And when they go out, they can damage the urinary tract and develop a urinary infection, or a kidney infection also known as a pyelonephritis, with fever, chills and pain all over the body. And if you get lucky it will go away with a couple of weeks on antibiotics. By the way, just so you know, the appendix has a very important function: its main function is to make it possible for certain microbes to grow to control and stimulate the action of our intestinal flora, allowing the regulation of the functions of our intestinal flora at the lowest risk of infection in our colon or intestine. And yes, if you have an appendix infection you have to go to the hospital as fast as you can.

DUUUUUUUDE I literally got out of that surgery a couple of months ago… that story was damn near identical and I couldn’t walk. My old man took me to the hospital and they were like “you came just in time. Your appendix was about to burst”

This video reminded me of when I developed Ulcerative Colitis and had a few hospital stays, colonoscopies, and surgeries later. This was mainly from March 2016 to May 2018. I’m fine now Good reaction though

Yeah, I've have appendicitis and my appendix rupture _while_ getting scanned. Shit's no fun. I remember it was an emergency surgery and I was under for a few hours at least (can't remember what my parents told me exactly, the rest of the hospital stay was constant in-and-out of consciousness so y'know pretty damn fuzzy). I remember them saying if I had waited another day to come in I'd probably not have made it. Spoopy. :|

The closest thing I had to appendicitis is Gastrointestinal acid reflux felt like abdomen is in a plank 24*7...food came out from where it goes in.

I had kidney stones one time and when it came to flushing them out, the size of them coming out of...you know...was one of the worst pains I've ever felt

I’ve had to have my stomach emptied a few times due to intestinal issues The NG tube is pushed up your nose and down your throat that way. The first time I did throw up a little bit . Honestly, the worst part about it was not being able to eat or drink anything for 3+ days. (When I had it done, they had to keep my stomach empty to give my intestines time to rest and basically restart)

super relatable but actually I got out of appendicitis I don't know something like that your blood is super or something what else to say I was like 9 back then and I was supposed to go through this, Damn this experience and you know jaby(if you reading this) I saw your channel you with Achara Kirk for Indian content and Something CraZZyyyy is that Amanda McCants with stepmom of Ryan leader everything together with its just a BLAST!.

When i was in ICU half unconscious the doctor told my cousin that there is only 5% chance of him surviving. I heard it and said give me my favourite ice cream first 😂 (Btw i didn't remember saying it since i was in coma for a month later family told me that i said i want blackcurrant and pineapple ice cream 😂)

Kidney stones are worst for men because we have small urethra. I have kidney stones right now. And my friend who is a doctor said the same thing.

I also had apendix just after my birthday party and at the time of my exams. So i gave 1 exam in pain. And at hospital i asked doctor can i give other exam then come back. Doctor said operation should he held tommarow morning. And i fainted 😂🤦

Kidney stones are SO SO SO not fine ... its like giving birth whilst being stabbed but you dont get a reward for that amount of pain you just stop hurting...just like that.. its so blissful when it stops hurting that youd cry but you dont have any tears left...or willpower to give a fcuk if you die at that point and you just pass out and sleep for 12 hours straight waking up in utter fear that the pain might come back cause it justs happens one minute no pain tye next on the floor screaming in agony.... yeah and ive given birth 3 times.. To this day, I've passed 6 stones in my kidneys AND so many in my gullbladder, they took it out... ill take childbirth thank you...though you can keep the stones as a reward, and it doesn't need care to live in that little pill jar...
