This is my series where I book a standard room at every hotel in Las Vegas and show you everything you need to know. I’m inspecting mattresses, cleanliness, looking for bugs, testing water pressure and smells. No influencer trickery or arranged visits, this is a look at what you can expect at each resort. Next is OYO. Formerly known as Hooters and previously a Howard Johnson. This entire property is grimy, smoky and smells bad. The room itself feels like it should rent by the hour. You can tell when you first walk in that it's not Posh. the real issue is they still charge you a resort fee for very little facilities. we need more barebones hotels near the strip. this one is not it.

Where is the info about them trying to charge you for free parking ?

Is it one of those things where OYO says it is free, but the franchisee is keeping the room prices low to get customers in so they can then trick people after their stay with an added fee for parking. Instead of including it in the price of the room.

@@Thegamebasement I wasn't sure if that was the case or not I was just asking because it is a common occurrence at places ran by franchisees. I'm a truck driver and there is a TA express in South Houston that is run by a franchisee or third party. It is paid parking but not through TA the Third Party is charging drivers to park there so they make all the money from parking and not just a fraction of it they don't even provide security just a convince fee for being able to park in Houston.

Pause the screen when it comes to parking part. It’s “easy access parking”, which might sound like “free” to some but it isn’t. Also and more importantly, it also says, “short term parking is free”. “Short term” can mean, just simply pulling up and unloading your bags, and checking in, that was your “short term” parking. Now if you want to park here for the rest of your stay, there’s a fee.

When you get some time, can you review Ole Red, in front of Horseshoe? I do not have enough info for the tourist. (P.S. I do send them to you for reviews if I am short on info)

Keep it up, would you add the SunCoast hotel on your list, I'm curious if more local friendly hotel/casino's in town are at any advantage or disadvantage, since headboards and mattresses I would assume get less rapid turn over at local casino's/off strip, (who stay's off strip for 1 night? for example, not a lot of out of state tourist, I would think)
