Dear god. I'm from Biloxi and I remember meeting Jake the Snake in Bay St. Louis where this event happened. It was probably one of the more unsettling things I've ever seen. They had an autograph table where he had a fifth under the table and he excused himself for a bathroom break and when he came back was coked out of his mind. My dad actually brought me to Toys R Us after that and bought me a new video game because he felt so bad about that happening.

This was one of my favourite episodes, but was always hard to go back to knowing that Blampied was gone for quite a while and that it would've just made me miss him more. THANKFULLY, he's finally come back to KZfaq (working now with the team @ WrestleTalk) and now its reminded me to come back and watch these two just nail it out of the park with this... shitshow of a PPV.

I'm so glad Jake is doing better nowadays, especially after watching the Dark Side of the Ring episode on his father. I feel like life owes that man some sort of redemption. It's also weird to stumble upon old Plumpy stuff. I'm so used to seeing him on Wrestletalk now.

Samoan Swat Team (with Sika) def. Luke & Butch (7 minutes; The Not Bushwackers do their silly dance afterwards, basically no-selling the loss) 3. Tommy Rogers def. Stan Lane (10 minutes; Fantastics vs. Midnight Express turning back the clock and settling an actual grudge from the past) 4. Abdullah is eliminated by Bundy after OMG distracts him, leading to them brawling on the outside; Yoko throws Bundy out to win; Abdullah and OMG have a bloody brawl that goes backstage while The Samoan Swat Team and Sika back up Yoko, causing Bundy to reconsider attacking the winner) 8. Marty Jannetty def. Tully Blanchard (15 minutes; Despite Tully attacking Marty in the parking lot earlier and being bitter that Jannetty's challenge dragged him out of retirement, both men shake hands and embrace afterwards; Show closes with a roll call from everyone on the show except Jake the Snake, who should've been escorted from the premises after the first match regardless of his state, in the ring together

I love Jake Roberts, it’s so sad to see these drunken and potentially high moments. Roberts is my favorite wrestler, and this hurts so bad to see. Roberts is one of the goats of promos, and that is simply tear inducing. The snake is, to me, the best heel in wrestling. Well, maybe Jericho, but still, Jake on jre got me into wrestling, so I gotta give em this. And this isn’t nostalgia, as I just said the jre episode got me in, that was like 2 years ago

So apparently this particular WWW video hasn't aged well, because Adam Blampied has been accused of misconduct and SH/SA, and he's since stepped down from both WhatCulture and WrestleTalk because of it. Fine, whatever. I'll still watch it, because I love anything that discusses and pokes fun at the worst wrestling PPV of all time. And that's all there is to it!
