Most of those 80's cards had color distortion. Paper turning yellow. I noticed a few of the other ones also had major surface issues and I don't think that it was the slab.

This was brutal. Maybe you should stick to ultra modern?

I think they definitely have a two-tier grading system when grading older cards. I've gotten 10s on some ultra modern cards that are 70-30 centering on the front and 80-20 centering on the back . Some consistency on the modern and vintage would be nice. I appreciate the video

I’ve been putting together a PSA9 set of 1986 Fleer Basketball, and have gotten a ton of 9’s back from PSA. My last couple of orders have gotten absolutely hammered, with most of the grades coming in on the low end of my expected range or a grade below that. All of the cards in my order were 1986 Fleer, so mine was not skewed by a mix of years.

I noticed when sending this kind of order to psa the cards 2020 and up can offset the whole order . The 90s and 80s cards get a grade lower than they should

Your getting the same new grade that was on your old crack outs and then saying you have Bad Luck or a bad grader.I would think the consistency is a clue you might be missing something.The grading consistency is a plus as I see it.

Generally when I send in cards to PSA i average between 65%-70% Gem rate on ultra modern. I usually only send in about 20-25 cards at a time so I don't have so many in incase I get a bad grader. BUT, against my better judgement...I sent in 49 and 38 for the New Years special. The 38 card order isn't finished yet but I received the grades yesterday for the 49 card...The grades were as follow: 14 10's, 18 9's, 13 8's, 3 7's and 1 6. Seriously a 6 on a 2023 card? I feel like I look over everything great before I send it and use a microfiber to make sure there aren't any fingerprints/smudges on the front or back surfaces. Oh well, hopefully just a one time thing.

I got the bad luck grader. Listen to that. Does that make any sense? Shouldn't the grade reflect the cards condition? The big chief at psa even said depends on the grader. Lol and yet you guys still use psa. Idk. You can't complain when the top dog himself says roll the dice and see who you get. And lol if you don't like the grade resubmit because you could get a different grade. All about stealing folks money.

Damn... Man up homie. Sometimes...things won't go the way you think they should. Slamming the slabs down and making bomb threats...even though I understand you are being facetious...the emotional damage caused from card grading is very telling of someone that is immature and/or mentally ill. Not a good look IMO.

If that is the worst.. not bad.. the Ricky Henderson is nice! Happened to me.. could have two 8s on very expensive MJ cards.. got a 6 & 7(1/3 of potential value)! And I paid grading based on that.. never again.. will pay and have them up charge me now always! 😡🤬🤦🏻‍♂️

80's cards don't grade easy dude. Particularly when you get earlier in. A lot of your cards were off-center badly. On the Sideny Green, I see a print line that runs across his elbow. I also see discoloration in the dark area of the card that goes up to team name. Then there is the yellowing. For 1986 Topps football, that's one of the most condition sensitive sets in all the 80's.

PSA is a joke. U know this...... You're getting a 30 second evaluation and someone's opinion on a card. It's never gonna be consistent. The grades seemed pretty consistent with everything else I'm seeing tho. I think it was pretty fair. Those old ass white 87 cards are never gonna grade higher these days

They should send a detailed list of at list of the negative things wrong with the card that they're grating. I mean, you're paying a premium for this service. You might as well get an answer. Why they are grating your card so low? If you ask me, it's a fucking scam!

So you crack out a bunch of PSA 8s and 9s, and they get graded as a PSA 8 or 9 again, and you are upset? You should be happy with the consistency. Then, on top of all that, you decide it is the grader's fault and record a video, and post it online, that says you should send a bomb to the guy's house. PSA will be happy not getting your money in the future.
