And we’re not just talking about for fans of certain teams… there are some on this list where the entire country but one city was moaning and groaning all the way through. One thing that goes unmentioned with SB 53 is that a lot of people did NOT want the Rams to win. The massively blown call against the Saints that was obvious PI left people saying that the Rams didn't deserve to be there. Yeah I'm sure Pats haters maybe thought differently but all I know is a lot of Saints fans turned into Pats fans that day haha

The term “best QB prospect since Elway” gets thrown around a lot without people realizing he had 3 of the worst Super Bowl performances before finally redeeming himself in his final season after he had little to do with their 1st title the year before. It makes me wonder if he would’ve went out on top had they played the Vikings instead in SB XXXIII.

Super Bowl 48 was an example of an all-time defense displaying its prowess and skill, and against an all-time offense, it was amazing to watch. It wasn't a game filled with unforced turnovers and sloppy play. It was a defensive masterpiece. Not sure how you can't appreciate that, unless you're just a casual fan who only cares about the game when someone scores a touchdown. It was definitely not an all-time bad Super Bowl.

SB LIII was the most boring football game I have ever seen. I remember being at a sports bar in Nebraska (Football territory), & I can remember many people at Halftime not caring as much. Some even left, or did something else at the place other than watching the Super Bowl.

It's a solid list. You could say any of the Vikings Super Bowls or Cowboys/Broncos '77. I think the NFL needs to retire the Roman numerals. I get it - football is the gladiator sport of the modern day but are we really going to see SB LXXXXVIIII (99) followed by SB C (100)? 😂😂 That'll be a field graphics/uniform stitching nightmare. Go with the cardinal number or the year. Just a thought.

SB 53 was the SB that neither team should have been in. The Rams obviously by virtue of the worst PI no call against the Saints at the end of the NFC Championship game, and the Patriots by virtue of the worst blunder by a player, a Chiefs Safety lining up in the neutral zone at the end nullifying a game winning int. I wasn't happy because the Patriot's tied my Cowboys for fewest points allowed in a SB, 3 (SB VI) in a SB they shouldn't have been in.

That’s debatable. The 2000 Ravens faced A LOT of horrible qbs & offenses. Tim Couch, Akili Smith, Spergin Wynn just to name a few. Many feel the steel curtain defense of the 70s Steelers were the best. They finished #1 in the NFL network top 10.

Oddly enough, the falcons had something like 6 trips inside the broncos 30 and came away with just 6 points out of that. I’m not saying they should’ve won or anything, but the game should’ve been closer. Eugene Robinson had his finest 72 hours that weekend 😂😂😂

you make it sound like teams that get blown out just don't put out any effort when actually it's called the other team having a defense which is a big reason they are in the SB in the first place. The te team getting blown out isn't going out and turning the ball over on a whim, the defense is forcing them. It's called winning in the trenches.
