You are such a blessing to me. I'm 67 year old widow now and this was the easiest video to help a woman do it herself I can't afford someone else to help her. I miss my husband. I will keep this video for later in case I forget how to do it again. Thank you so much again for all your help

You, unfortunately, are in the same situation as me. I'm 61 and trying to learn how to do all the things my beloved used to do. Thank goodness for KZfaq and posters like this gentleman. His video is easy to understand, without all the jargon that just confuses a person who is not mechanically inclined. Thank you Sir for your help. I am now running to the store for new blades as I took a look at mine and the serrated edge is totally gone. No wonder it was so hard to get the driveway edged. 😀

@@fixanythingsavemoney I do as a matter of fact. I recently discovered my beloved's Dremel 200 with attachments in his shop. I was going to sell it, but it was recommended for me to keep it because it may come in handy. Do you have any tutorial's on Dremels?

Great video. You made the guard up and down simple. The instructions are poor at best. Thank you.

@FixAnythingSaveMoney yes it did. Most are self-explanatory, but people are confused about dropping the guard. The one I missed was the blade depth adjustment. Your video saved me a good amount of frustration. I have their drill. The documents on that are very good. Thank you again, and be safe.

@@user-sj1bj2iq4v well then I sincerely apologize for saying what I said to you then I thought you were criticizing the fix anything man. Your comment didn't say book instructions it just said instructions so I was figuring it was his instruction. Anyway OK then I understand. And if you meant that that I am sorry that I said that to you. Take care

@ropeysubstance1719 I'm glad it's working well for you! I used it to trench out the water line for my sprinkler system and it worked great. I still had to dig to get the line a little deeper but this worked great for starting the trench. Thabks for the comment! Have a great day!

You're welcome! I will double check later today but I remember looking for a locking mechanism for the blade and couldn't find one. I do the same process whenever I'm changing the blade on my lawn mower. I have a full video on lawn mower maintenance as well. If you'd like to check it out be sure to subscribe and check it out! I just checked the manual. It shows a picture to use two wrenches. One is a 15mm on the actual nut and then a larger one on the washer. The biggest wrench I have is 7/8 and it was still too small to fit on that washer so I recommend using channel locks or just using the block of wood. But no there isn't any sort of locking mechanism. Thanks again for watching! Have a good night!

@@fixanythingsavemoney My guess is they suggest the two wrenches to avoid stressing the plastic housing. the missus and I changed the blades on our riding mower using the wood block technique. but the deck on that old beauty was metal

That's a really good point. I guess you could warp or break the plastic on it. I've only changed the blade twice on it so far but I don't really use it too often. Thanks for the tip and for watching, have a great night!
