Well this is a very good review i think more cons than pros and its more like a maintenance lawn trimmer it actually brought back memories of using the pushmower NOW that mower .... WHEW !!!

Definitely a maintenance mower. It took me back to the movie "honey I shrunk the kids".

Thanks for the review. The patches that are not getting cut may be due to large stiff leaves. They will push the blades out of the way. Try removing them in the patches and see what happens. Also cutting grass wet always leads to poor results. You can have the mower wait a set period of time after it rains. The mower and your phone need to be on the same WIFI i believe, try that to solve your connection issus. The point of a mower like this is have it run often taking small clippings. Most people run them every night. Hope this helps.

As most robots it does not map out the back yard so you just have a random cutting pattern.

I recently saw one robot mower that will map the lawn and mow in a pattern...that being said it was much more expensive. I have been pretty happy with the Landroid.

@@Jeffreviews4u Many years ago I purchased a 42" Snapper Yard Cruiser. I had to mow my father-in-law's 5 acres every 2 weeks plus my place. The mower is about 19 years old and still working fine. We sold the house and 5 acres so all I have to mow is my yard. From the time I get the mower out and mow my yard until I clean it up and put it back in the shop it takes only 20 minutes.

I would love to see a follow up video next summer to see how it holds up with continuous use. It does look like a solid investment. I been mowing grass since I was 12 LOL. It sucked back then and still sucks now

@@Jeffreviews4u i am considering fencing in my huge 20x20 yard LOL that I own with my town house and this machine may be perfect if it is consistent

@@arcaderacer586 I've been pretty happy so far. If you end up getting one, make sure your guide wire is at least 10 inches away from the fence so the landroid can find its way back to the base.

in general it`s a great robot mower, good price and quality ratio. Has some small issues and a must do upgrades but any other brands have them as well. Biggest issue with them is the charger, they all fail in the end!

Wow! Do you happen to know if this will cut 1 1/2 acres or is 1/2 acre its max? This would save us money because we pay $350 a month for someone to cut our high maintenance yard. Sure do appreciate your reviews!

This one is set up for .5 acre. My thought would be anything more than a .5 acre may be a bit challenging for this version. Possibly they'll come out with larger versions. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍

I hope EGO comes out with one. You can set up areas for it to mow. That way the aera will get cut fully before moving to the next and you shouldn't have as many tall spots. Does it have a grid pattern?

Any idea how'd this would do on hilly yards? I'm wondering if using extra power to go up hill would drain the the battery faster. Interesting device and great review. I could see this being more practical in the future with some improvements to the programming, etc.

The Landroid is limited to certain grades (20 degree slope_...but hills should be ok. It may use extra power but so far the Landroid is able to recharge in an hour or so and get back to work.

Hard pass on this, those little blades are ridiculous, if you hit a small stone they're cooked. lolol

I thought that too...however since the blades are not screwed in tight, if they hit a rock or a stick they swivel out of the way...I am still testing out this product and should post a follow up in a few weeks. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
