Pertwee’s voice brings the iconic characters of Worzel Gummidge to life. Easily the best narration.

Pity Jessica Martin had to re-record this onto cd. Maybe by 2030 Jon's version will be allowed to go onto cd as it'll be 50 years which may solve copyright if that's the issue

Jon Pertwee brought Worzel Gummidge to life. He worz an absolute genius at being Worzel, you ask any Standing Still, Jon Pertwee made Worzel Gummidge seem like a slice of tea and a cup of cake to play his part, because he was made to be Worzel. It's good to hear him narrating Barbara Euphan Todd's creation.

The original book story is a bit different from the tv series but it's good and cute!

Yes, lack of access to multiple turnip heads tends to limit the narrative, but an entertaining listen.

Why is this version not on cd? Why did Jessica Martin re-record this for cd? Do we have to wait for the 50 year rule if it's a copyright issue?
