I've been platooned with randoms b4 and 1 of the guys i was with requested fire on that tree from arty it was a smashing idea provided cover for all 3 of us great stuff claus

It’s amazing new things you keep learning about the mechanics. After thousands of games, I only just found out that water dramatically reduces splash damage. If you sit in water, arty can’t splash you.

I let my premium time lapse early last year and spent time in lower mid tiers. Didn't go below 4 with my T6. With a lot at 5 and 6. And yes, the game is fun down there. Arguably more fun than Tier 10. I've got 12 Tier 10 tanks. and I must say I don't play much in any of them.

i really love my T4 alecto with the 2 pounder fast reload gun. 2.2 second reload and 110mm pen. it holds up to T6 games. even heavys are not a big problem. i love it

I'll say this...Low Tiers is wildly unpredictable. You have Unicoms, old salts, new players and statpadder seal clubbers and odd things happen.

After seeing an earlier vid from Claus driving the American Tier IV TD M8 something) I bought and it's one of my favo tanks, lots of fun! Fast, good view range, gun with excellent penetration, easy to re-position.

Low tiers always make for some fast, frenetic fun. Careful, meticulous gameplay is great at higher tiers, but sometimes you just need some good old (mostly) consequence-free Run-&-Gun.

the pz III E in tier 3 is also a lot of fun, fast 16 tons ramming machine, got a ok gun and can get ok camo and spotting range, mainly i like it because with a turbocharger it is allot of fun to ram with

Just this week I sold my only tier X tank and my two tier IX tanks, put their decent crews in lower tier tanks I actually enjoyed playing and life is much better. And the credits I got for them gives me a big buffer to shoot gold like a mutha whenever I like!

I love the T-45, plus in lows tier money back is almost guaranteed, so when you have a t8 its just a step back and relax.

Did not know that you can shoot down trees from outside of the map but you don't necessarily want to do that unless it's the start of the game. Because once you're closer to the enemy you don't want to be shooting much to some trees because you will risk getting spotted. Also from now on if I ever see a tree fallen from the outside of the map to inside I will shoot that tree like crazy because there WILL be some1 there. Still interesting little thing that even I learned today.

After watching the 3 hour skill+claus vid, on the 200 ping server, i got the impression that Claus is skilled because his tank-crew is more skilled than most enemy tank-crew. Claus is not skilled, purely because of Claus' skills. I still enjoy most of the videos thou, but the title on this vid, emphasises my impression.

I actually noticed this when I would shoot people with my arty but I never thought to use it like this or that you could direct the angle of the trees fall.

I have been playing since 2012 and my tier average is 4.5. Upper tiers just suck for fun and FUN is what gameplay is about. I have many upper tier tanks but I prefer WW2 tanks which are in the lower tiers. The wheeled tanks have ruined the upper tiers anyway which has caused me to SELL everything above tier 6. I would like WOT to have battles with just WW1/WW2 tanks and no francentanks.

Tier 4 is even better, more maps available. In the game the Valentine was behind the wreck when your binocs engaged and moved out when you went forward, that's why you didn't spot him.

I like the IKV a lot within-its Tier.

Great game! Ever think that tiers 1-4 should be those training missions Noone plays but should? Then start Pubic matches at tier 5?

I played yesterday and it was terri-bad in the higher tiers... Went back to tier two and I seen more teamwork in 1 match, than I've seen all day in upper tiers..... And for some reason . . . their was always about a average 2 afk players on my team. Guess who lost most of the time . . .

Haven't played in a few years, but yes, playing in lower tiers was way more fun. It was chaotic like a demolition derby. As you progress to the higher tiers it tends to turn into a more toxic atmosphere. There always seemed to be at least one whiner about this or that. It got to the point where I turned my messenger off. What turned me away from the game were the mods that would point out the weak spots.

I think tier 7 is the best tier. Lots of fun tanks to play, with a good range of enemy tanks possible.

Low tiers are by far my favorite... top tier are always over in a minute or so (based on position/ground covered/sniping spots)... but the low tiers? Since the guns are weaker and tanks generally faster but less armor, players normally think before rushing into position or whatever... anyway, the games last longer and they are actually fun.

Tiers 1-4 are populated by players that are professional low tier players. It's only fun if you can roll around in a Luchs platoon.

I don't feel bad at all about playing lower tiers. Especially when we have noobs with just a few hundred games who are buying tier 8 premium tanks and causing us to lose games with their lousy playing!

You should try playing M5A1 Stuart at tier IV !

Artillery can't hit the trees, they wouldn't be able to shoot outside of the box. They would only be able to knock the trees the away from the map

Ikv didn't shoot you man, he shot trees so you can hide behind their branches and leaves. I often see some players do it

Whenever i play tier 3(actually always, i never played wot much, not to a grinding level) i always have bug opponents like tier 4 or 5, idk about 6 tho. Im on hong kong server.

Claus you finaly got it. All noobs, idiots and kids taken their tier VIII-X EBRs and ruin game on high tier, so all good profesional players moved rather to tier 3. :-) PS. About threes in game. Before updated to HD u can shoot all threes with HE in one shoot. After that update its seems dont work anymore, but it dit. You only need more shoots to knock down the threes, I thing it work even with regular shells. But that wagon on hill in abbye you cannot still destruct with any shells unlike in pre HD maps. :-)

Most players should stick to T3 to get their crews trained with multiple skills. It pays dividends in the following tiers after a few games (from a player that thought it more important to get that next tank instead of having a solid crew). AND there’s no camping spots in the game - not even for arty because some miserable lil’ cockroach will hunt them down and kill ‘em if they don’t move after shooting.

That T-127 had to be a bot... he had a grand total of 40 damage. He camped in the back, from the beginning of the game. welcome to t3 muppet play.

Since the tree was not modeled inside the map boundary chances are it is NOT going to assist in camo in any way.

Claus getting to the party a bit late...I saw a Leopard 1 do this quite some time ago. Everyone knows this....

The IKV-72 is one of the best TDs tier for tier. Fast, VERY high concealment, a good gun... Not much else to ask.
