This Lockpicking guide will take you step by step from 11-400 Lockingpicknig in Wotlk Classic World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King Expansion!!

from 100 to 150 do it by Pick pocketing mobs inside Scarlet Monastery 30000000% faster then Zoran Strand (about 10min doing 2 dungeon runs and thats it), you will also get a ton of health potions that you can donate to a lowbie and possible few recipes to sell on AH, and its kinda fun to sneak around pick pocket mobs.. I have to wonder if the person doing this guide actually did level it in Zoram Strand himself, because that is a horrible waste of time to the point of frustration the respawn of lockers is terrible.

I did Zoram on warmane and it was indeed horrible. Just levelled a rogue on classic and looking for tips so will check this out, thanks mate 👍

100% true. Everyone recommends Zoram... I was there for a hand full of minutes and decided that was trash, had to be a better way. Found out the SM Cathedral pickpocket method for myself.... so crazy fast!!!

@@MrAKH820 indeed. I ended up in sm and it's just pick, pick, pick, get 50 in inv and instant open with glyph. So much better than zoram honestly.

Searing Gorge, in the slave pits the yellow slave workers can be pick pocketed for lock boxes also.

hi, do you know where to increase the lockpicking bar beyond 300? I dont' know where and the guides only tell me where to loot boxes but not who teaches you, I'm stuck.

Is the glyph of pickpocket still available? I can't find it and a few sources say it's no longer in game?

Glyph of pick lock, not pickpocketing.

Yes its still in the game it increases the range of pickpocket by 5 yards, Glyph of pick lock makes lockpicking instant.

Seems like every lvl unlocks 5 skill point you can lvl up

Yeah it used to be like a profession, when u hit that skill level you can go learn the next one if your character has the level for it. Now it's just like a weapon skill. Each level you do you unlock 5 skill points to grind for.

Your lockpicking cap is determined by your characters level. For example, in BC every time my character leveled up, I gained a +5 to lockpicking cap.

Rogues are the only class that can learn to pick locks, if that's what you're asking.

from *100-175* go to *Scarlet Monastery !* for *Pick Pocket* for alliance it's a long path i know for myself but it's worth it, trust me. /cast [target=mouseover] Pick Pocket to make it even easier. there is *NO endless searching* just pp them all and there you go. took me max 2h to get there riding from IF, skill up to 175 AND write this comment Ride from *IF* up north through the *algaz station tunnelsystem* up to *wetlands* to *arathi highlands* and left to hillbrand foothills to *Southshore* make sure to get the flightpath there and collect some on the way along if you want to. Go furthur North to the dalaran crater and swim through the *silverpine forrest Lordamere Lake* from that point on just around UC and straight to the dungeons. besides that great guide

You can easily level from 70-175 by pickpocketing mobs in Scarlet Monastery which is 10000000000000000% faster than running around Zoram or Durnholde Keep for hours which will only make you wana kill yourself. Then go to Badlans and into the Angor Fortress where there are 9 chests that respawn every 10 minutes which can get you to 275. Then you go to BRD where you can just open the 3 locked doors on the left and the mechanism inside. Then go out, reset instance and repeat. After getting 30, jus thead to Zangarmash to the Feralfen Village (the south one in the middle of the map). There you can find exactly 15 chests in and outside the huts (the outside ones can be harder to spot). This will get you to 375 very fast as they have like 10 min respawn time.

So, lemme get this traight. Not only you have to grind the sh1t out of this useless skill, you also need to lvl up Blackshmithing so you can even use the keyes to open theses locked boxes? Are you focking kidding me?
