The B&T BWC-9, also known as the "Because We Can" folding carbine, is a modern and innovative pistol-caliber carbine designed for firearms enthusiasts.
This compact and folding bullpup rifle is a 9mm SMG/PCC that utilizes the SIG Sauer P320 fire control unit, which makes it a frame or chassis rather than a complete firearm.

A lot of folks for some reason are not listening to the guy, this is just a chassis. You have to own a gun that works in it or plan to buy the gun to put in it. Seems waste. Zev/Magpul product is an actual pistol, I'll save my $1500 and wait for Zev

Years ago I entered a gun store in a Denver, Co suburb. Facing the entry was a M2 on a tripod. I asked one of the employees why and his clear and unabashed answer was "Because We Can". Loved it then and this is the Marketing Concept of the Show.

This briefcase gun reminds me of the laptop gun from Perfect Dark. All that’s missing is a 30 round magazine, a full auto mode, a rof of 850 rpm, and the ability to turn into an auto turret that can attach itself to walls and it’s literally a real life laptop gun.

The 50 round mag was for the cyclone which reloaded with a gold bar you fed through the side of the gun. The mauler, wrist laser and the super dragon with one hit kill super agent bots was sooooo fun. The farsight and the slayer fly by wire were sooo epic to. Miss that game.

@@SLOCLMBR If the suppressor is integral, you only need one stamp. As long as you can't make the gun into two separate NFA "firearms," it's only one stamp. Same reason a machinegun doesn't need to be registered as an SBR if it has a short barrel and stock.

No other brand or model that I know of has a trigger group as the serialized “gun”. If they used any other type of handgun, this would be considered a gun. Their goal is for people to be able to have sbrs without the BS. There’s a reason he kept mentioning no background checks.

But it's not a gun. This is just a slim sleek chassis you have to transfer parts to or buy the pistol that will work with this to transfer said parts to. I assume this is expensive enough. Ill wait for the Zev FDP, which will be an actual firearm from the start

The only reason it’s not a AOW is because you use your registered frame. The way that ATF is working though is it would be legal for 10 years then declared a AOW, turn it in.

Since it is only able to be fired in a configuration that looks like a gun, it shouldn't fall under the definition of an AOW. It's still an SBR, though, so it doesn't really matter. It's just as much an NFA item as an SBR as it would be as an AOW.

It’s an sbr you’d have to do a form 1 on top of the 1500$ if you realistically wanted to use it for self defense. As for the jury comment and without making assumptions I would hope you keep that in mind next time you’re summoned for jury duty. If you want to be judged by your peers you have no excuse for not serving yourself, that’s the way I looked at it and my luck I got selected my first time. Most people may have forgotten things like duty and justice but I won’t let them drag me down to their filthy Bolshevik level.

Yeah, I feel like this makes the best use case as a vehicle gun. You can keep it flush against your center console between the seats with a magazine next to it, and you can have a deployable shoulder weapon in seconds.

Why wouldn't it be? It's not a firearm or anything at all. It's an external chassis for the pistols he stayed in the film. You have to already have or plan to purchase the additional firearm that works with this. Seems wasteful to me

@@Vorniforous This is a chassis, which means you need to drop in the FCU of a P320 (the part that’s legally a gun). Furthermore, handgun transfers are frozen rather than an outright ban. Those who already own a P320 can use this.

Magpul originally made and teased their FMG-9 back in the day. For the past two years, they've partnered with Zev and are bring back a civilian version of the original prototype under the FDP-9/FDC-9.

Yeah, being sold as an SBR in a polymer frame. You’ll get it in 1-2 years after it drops 3rd quarter this year & atf shield of eternal wait for same price. Or buy the B&T and take it home now since it’s not a firearm. You’d have that sbr paperwork back in a month. And it’s a aluminum frame.

I thought this was already a thing. I remember seeing this on MW3 back in the day.

It needs to be upside down/backwards so when you press the release button the weapon will be sitting upright immediately ready for use
