I met this guy who I felt I had a good connection to. I don’t want kids, it’s on my profile, but he responded to me, so I thought we were on the same page. Three dates in, he goes, “My biological clock, etc. I know your profile says you don’t want kids but I thought you were cool so I thought why not.” Like he knew this about me. That felt so sneaky or like he just didn’t take it seriously. And it really sucked because he was the first guy I really liked after a bad breakup a year and a half ago, but like... what the hell.

I don't agree. No one wants to feel that they are being scanned against a checklist on a date, or elsewhere. It's dehumanising.

Why are women attracted to bad boys? I know I’m a girl, but I’ve just never understood the attraction to that? A guy who is gentlemanly, kind and intelligent is obviously a lot better for you and for your future children if you desire any later on. Those just seem like better qualities to me and I would assume to anyone else?

I don’t actually know many grown women who are attracted to “bad boys”. Usually the ones who are into that have deep-rooted insecurities and don’t feel they deserve better, so they self-sabotage. Occasionally they are also very immature and don’t manage to attract a nicer kind, and mature man.
