I do a variation of this recipe, but I add spinach to the prosciutto and provolone, and instead of deep frying, I pan sear and roast. For the sauce, I make a homemade alfredo, then top with sun-dried tomatoes and basil.

this is an actual dish, it's called Chicken Cordon Bleu, basic framework of ham and cheese wrapped in chicken breast, breaded and fried or oven-baked, kinda like Chicken Kiev of course this kinda fancies it up with proscuito, but you can use any kind of ham and cheese you want, really, and it's commonly served with a bechamel-type sauce
