@@Frogan.. because of the harmful bacteria that raw meat has, people don’t wear gloves and may touch so many other surfaces and it’s so easy to spread around. You or someone else can become so ill from it! Wearing gloves allows you to just take them off after touching it. For me personally, this won’t be everyones issue, but i have autism and ocd and raw meat to me is dangerous, and idk how else to describe it besides ‘ewy’ so gloves protect my hand from the feel of it (sensory issues) and make me feel extra clean, with my hands i’m paranoid washing them won’t clean them properly alone, and touching the tap is contaminating it trying to wash my hands. I know i’m more cautious than other people but yeh!

for real. I see coking video's where they handle raw meat and then grab their spice bottles without cleaning their hands, and you know they're not cleaning those spice bottle off. I knew a guy who didn't wash his hands at all after handling raw meat. Just touched everything like normal. Fools, man.

Recipe: Chinese American simplified Green Beans with Beef dish (without black beans). Ingredients: Steak of choice (flank or skirt is preferred for quick stir fry) Green beans Garlic Ginger Sesame Seeds Cornstarch flour Baking soda Salt Brown sugar Dark soy sauce (Kecap Manis ABC sweet soy sauce is used in video) Optional: Chinese rice wine vinegar and fermented black beans for deeper tones. Chili oil to stir fry to add spicy. Recipe: Throw steak in bowl after slicing and add 1 cup of cornstarch and a 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda for 1 pound of beef, pinch of salt. The salt and baking power help to extract moisture and tenderize beef. No need to add flour when cornstarch works. Marinate for 30 minutes to an hour. In a seperate bowl, add ginger, garlic diced, and brown sugar. Add 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce (not light or regular). You can add Chinese rice wine vinegar as optional. After stir frying the beef for a few minutes, add in the garlic, ginger, sugar, dark soy sauce combo. Then the grean beans. Stir fry. Optionally, you can add chili oil now, fermented black beans, and sesame oil. Done. 👇 like if you enjoyed the recipe.

All the "stabbing" does is break the structure of the meat which doesn't diminish taste at all, all it does is make the meat softer which results in a better experience when eating.

"white rice is close to sugar" is just not true. also this is a ginger brown sugar glaze (traditional chinese flavor), most of the sugar cooks out in the pan. it's a pretty balanced meal with protein, carbs, and fiber. if you seriously think this meal is unhealthy, you have an unhealthy relationship with food.

Looks like your choice of steak, tossed with it looks like corn starch and salt probably, fry it to your liking, ginger, garlic, brown sugar and soy sauce most likely for the sauce you put over the meat and add green beans or you can use brocolli and sesame seeds. YUMMYS.
