I used to think that, then One Piece almost made me cry multiple times haha. I have never come close to crying from any movie or anything only when someone dies, but One Piece got a tear or two out of me haha. It's in no way childish it will make you think about life and your real friends are and how far you would be willing to go for those close to you. One Piece makes you want to go try harder in everything and become the very best at whatever you do no matter what. One Piece is amazing!

It gets increasingly epic as time goes by. There are certain events throughout One Piece which sparks quite a few VERY serious fights. Though you should not look into these as they will spoil everythin on epic proportions. Even at the latest episodes Luffy is still joking around, but serious fights happen A LOT more often now, and fuck me they are epic.

I was on automatic play for One Piece videos, this comes on while I'm talking to my sister and reading, and suddenly the world stops so I can watch it and cry.

God i remember when when i started watching one piece, I was like hmm kinda crappy graphics story dosen't seem much, I won't get to episode 10, and now I can barely wait for the next episode. That's life for you, full of surprises :)

I have to admit it wasn't too long ago that I was one of those fools. There are many people in life who think Naruto whenever they hear anime, and that is enough for them to not explore the genre further. I enjoy watching a dbz saga from time to time, and two years ago I was convinced to start One Piece. Haven't looked back since.

Whitebeard's final fight was many times more epic in the manga....and it showed him as being far more of a beast then the anime made him out to be.

I eat one price because that show has showed me to never give up on my dreams no matter what people say, I watch naruto because it shows me two things 1. Even if you live your whole life without friends you'll find one who really respects you, and 2. It showed me that when everything is going downhill and there's seems like no other option keep fighting even if the odds are against you because you should never give up

He didn't say that cartoons sucked :3 He just said that anime shouldn't be grouped with cartoons, (American cartoons, likely) which I can understand. American cartoons tend to be made with children in mind, while anime is made for all age groups. Of course, there are exceptions, but I'm just speaking in general here. Mind you, I DO like American cartoons; I just recognize that the shows that I like are 'kids' shows.
