@@tomalex4806 Say for instance you get bored and thought lets have a quick run through on youtube, and boom this pops up and then you were like oh sweet we could use this for our products. Then said staff member pops their head in to the bosses office and goes "have you heard of these people boss"? Then boom business, word of mouth is ALWAYS the best way to advertise no matter the industry. Random encounters like this can save companies and can get new investment as well, for those that are interested in the green stuff.😂

I think we all need to send Aquapak an email not only praising Nigel for his professionalism but also thanking Aquapak for their dedication towards becoming plastic free for the environment

Nigel was great but not an expert, PVOH is a petrochemical product and is found in marine life, it is sold as a eco alternative to micro plastic causing products but it is not a long term solution (pun intended). It is not biodegradable but dissolvable and this can take a long time (years/decades). It is not a wonder product unfortunately.

@@JC_303but he was a shift manager not a scientist, the thing he did so well was to turn a potentially confrontational situation into a positive advert for the company. If more companies responded like that we may learn stuff along the way and they could actually cultivate brand loyalty I think he was awesome, and I sent an email saying that.

This is one of the biggest examples of how these videos COULD and Should go. Well done to AquaPak and all the best in their business venture and helping with helping the planet. who knows, if production gets bigger and the industry embraces this it could bring costs down substantially and become the standard for all plastic packaging!

Thanks for a friendly introduction to Aquapak and information provided on the website. Interesting details of their Hydropol product that allows the polymer components to breakdown and dissolve over time; also allows separating out the paper components of packaging for recycling. Great job summarizing the details for DJ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐👍 The facility was agricultural land of Hollymoor Farm and across the main road was the Hollymoor Hospital on pre-70s OS maps. Most the land and streets since redeveloped. Building construction in progress on 2016 street view and relocated head office in 2018.

I've noticed that the message about filming is really starting to be understood by a lot of businesses. If this trend continues, it almost pits you out of work. But being able to get more in-depth videos or tours of factories, perhaps that would be a progression for the channel. But what a great guy, and it's good to see someone so proud of who they work for and the products they make. 👍

What an absolute legend that shift manager was ... EXACTLY how i'd expected to be treated as an eager member of the public. Most people are worried about approaching companies because of awkward interactions and red tape, he just gave you a summary of what they do perfectly, and quite frankly I learned a lot. Great to hear that their polymer dissolves and won't come back in our foods !

I've worked in industry and warehousing, and Nigel is highly above the average shift managers' level of knowledge and information about the company and products. He should be given a higher role and pay scale by the company as he is a diamond you want working for your company. He turned it around from a normal company polluting the environment to how they are doing it right, and also selling their ethos and techniques. Wow, what a down-to-earth sell! Brilliant job all around.

I think that’s the most professional Company you’ve visited so far DJ. That was really interesting listening to his explanations, the cost I would imagine in time will come down as more and more companies use them.
