For some reason, this Frankenstein Burger King is one of the most memorable things on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. It’s one of the first things that comes to my mind when I think of Niagara Falls. A couple of weeks ago I looked it up to see if the Frankenstein eating a burger (which goes so hard btw) was still there and I cannot explain how hype I was to find out it was not only still there but that they put a fuckin rollercoaster on top of it

The American side of Niagara Falls is mostly a depressed business and industrial wasteland, except for a small area by the falls...the Canadian side is all parkland from Niagara Falls to Niagara on the Lake, except for a area by Clifton Hill, which is a tourist attraction. One side is a pleasure to visit with parks, attractions and fun for kids and adults, the other side is just another run down small city whose claim to fame is that it has a good view of the Canadian "Horseshoe" Niagara Falls.

Oh don't worry, the Canadian side of Niagara Falls is also severely depressed, every cent fo city funds goes into the tourist trap and the rest of the city is neglected and no one living there can afford even a shitty apartment because there's nothing there for jobs besides tourism. Used to live there and have several friends that still do.

The Canadian side is way better if you are going to visit, have gone to both and loved the Canadian side better. My friend also had a really bad experience in the American side a short while after I went. Plus, the Canadian side has more to do with the falls in term of amount, and the Ferris wheel is peak when you see the view.

To be fair the city of Niagara Falls New York, just outside the park area, is a highly decayed urban wasteland. Niagara Falls Ontario is a kitschy tourist trap - but that's what its' meant to be.

The city of Niagara Falls (US) was victim to lots of corruption following its industrial death, love canal being just one nail in that coffin (along with smoke stacks that would cloud the sky and an extremely malodorous landfill). Money was being pocketed instead of being used to expand tourism.... or to clear up hazardous sites... So yeah, pretty much what you would expect

The poster really needed to leave the few square blocks that make up Clifton Hill and the surrounding area that make up the tourist trap part of NF Canada. The Canadian falls themselves are more spectacular than the American, surrounded by parkland and the entire Canadian waterfront of the Niagara River is tightly controlled by a Crown (government) body called the Niagara Parks Commission. It covers from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario.

You should go to Las Vegas and go on the roller coaster called the big apple. It is in the area of New York, New York. Per person it’s $25. sometimes the ride has to stop because of wind delays. The max height of this ride is 144 feet and there are two versions before you go on the ride. You need to know it is very rough.

@@ParkPros So cool that Great America is one of the pinnacle parks of the chain next to Magic Mountain. Could have been sad like Georgia, Saint Louis or La Ronde. That being said, I hope eventually the government allows them to RMC American Eagle or expand into the farmland/empty space across the street cause the park is getting pretty cramped, especially with almost no easy footprints for coasters. Goliath and Maxx Force are fun, but come on, waiting 2 hours for a 1 minute ride isn't very fun.
