I remember while flying and a passenger had her son and he kept crying and she was trying to soothe him and nothing she did worked. My mom and I was were sitting across the aisle from the lady and my mom asked can she hold him. The woman gave the baby to my mom and she played with him a little and than rocked him to sleep. The woman started crying and thanking my mom for helping her out because at the point several passengers had complained. My mom held the child for the rest of the flight and he didn't wake up once until we landed.

the baby crying one depends because if the mom is trying to help then you shut up but if they are just letting the baby cry and not doing anything you should say something not about the crying though

The friend buying the same dress happened to me several times with the same friend. One time I bought a dress and then two weeks later she's on IG wearing the same dress lol. I was like "nice dress" and it looked great on her. What made me mad was another time we bought the same dress at the same time and I planned to wear it for my birthday and I texted her and told her I was wearing it.. When I got to her house, her mom was like "omg she's wearing that too"..so she wore the same exact outfit as me for my 16th birthday dinner on purpose. Smh we're not friends anymore for other reasons though.

Why would you propose to someone you have never seriously talked about marriage and made future plans with? I'll never understand these proposals where the girls are actually sooo shocked and surprised. Like if you two have a relationship that is truly that close and serious and on that level, it really shouldn't be that surprising.

I remember being on a flight from NYC going back home to HTown Texas, many years ago. I was truly in pain because I went straight from the club, to the hotel, to LaGuardia. We were stuck on the runway for almost two hours because of rain, and there was this poor baby girl crying her eyes out, sitting next to me w her dad, the whole time. Of course people were making comments, and Dad along with Mom who sat across aisle with two more older children kept apologizing. Once we took to the air, I asked the flight attendant to please give me a sprite with no ice, and a cup of ice too. I dipped an ice cube in the sprite and, with permission from Dad, gave it to to the baby girl. She stopped crying in about a minute. Poor baby girl just started that day teething. I come from a big family and baby sat a lot growing up, so I thought that could have been what was going on. Needless to say I got many free cocktails after that, from Dad, Mom, and nearby passengers. Haha! I don't have children of my own, but my heart goes out to the parents who travel with their babies.

That JUST happened to me two weeks ago. My friend came in town and brought her boyfriend and was expecting to stay at my house! Id only met him once and they havent been together long. Oh and did i mention she had somewhere to be that required a ticket and he didnt have one, so she just assumed he could stay with me while she did her thing? Uh no! I let it slide just this once considering other circumatances but the ground rules were reset. Try it again and u both will be sleeping outside!

If a friend buys the same thing you want, I don't understand the problem. You do not own an article of clothing. Some people are so stuck up

I definitely WENT OFF on the lady! Try to offer some words of encouragement. I was so overwhelmed.

As for babies crying on plane it's so hard because their ears pop, air pressure, their gassy ect I don't mind it, crying isn't the worst sound in the world. I'm with Tam, they can't control it.

OMG I can relate to that last one on so many levels. I honestly can't think of anything more annoying than this! Im not friendly, or comfortable around strangers, so inviting random people to outings is a big NO NO. Nobody wants to hang out with people they don't know.

I was gonna catch up with one of my friends in town but then last minute she told me she was bringing her boyfriend so I had to go to town and hang out with her and her boyfriend it SUCKED I hadn’t spoken to her in ages and I’d never spoken to him and it got to the point where it was so awkward that I had to make up an excuse to go home early

yep this is why if I meet the right person I'll hope he'll propose in private. and if anyone propose to me privately is better because I don't like a lot of attention and won't want to seem like such a stuck up if I didn't feel like that for the guy. the crowd would make me nervous and feel worst.

My Mom told me that one time she was on a flight and a baby was crying. Idk if she said it directly to the parents or just aloud but she said “the baby is probably cold.” & later on the parents finally put a blanket on the baby, & the baby quieted down. So it’s not always bad to speak up if you do it politely. Nobody wants to hear a kid screaming for hours. I say people should try to get to know their babies and how to keep them in a pleasant mood so they’re not disturbing the peace. A baby cries when they’re uncomfortable, not for no reason. Your job as a parent is to try and figure out why the baby is crying so that you can comfort them and get them so stop. They shouldn’t be crying nonstop for hours.

I never understood why people get so worked up about being dressed the same? I had a friend in jr high who freaked on me one day because she was wearing a very SIMILAR outfit, not the same, similar. When I first saw her I literally laughed and started saying how this was a funny coincidence and she turned it into this huge deal. I just don't get it. It's stupid in my opinion.
