Which dressings should one use in order to prevent or treat hypergranulation on a biopsy wound? I had hypergranulation tissue and my dermatologist used silver nitrate to flatten and rid of the extra tissue. I'm worried that my biopsy wound will have hypergranulation again and not heal. What do you recommend I use for dressing my biopsy wound? I was using hydrocolloid dressings before the silver nitrate treatment. I had film for 3 days after the silver nitrate. Now I'm using foam dressings.

it is a difficult area to dress i suggest if you need to use a foam use one like Mepilex Border Sacrum or Allevyn™ Sacrum
