Join us in welcoming former Army Aviator Patrick Scrogin and his family to his forever, mortgage-free, specially adapted smart home from Gary Sinise and the #garysinsefoundation
Patrick lost his left leg and underwent 38 back surgeries following a helicopter crash in Iraq. After years of living in a standard apartment, Patrick and his family will spend their lives enjoying automation and designs specific to his and their needs.
As Gary says, "While we can never do enough to show gratitude to our nation's defenders, we can always do a little more."

Captain Patrick Scrogin it is with deep respect an honor Sir I thank you for your sacrifices and your families too. As a fellow Veteran and one of many brothers and sisters that we have Sir This Marine Gunnery Sargent thanks you from the bottom of my heart. My sentiments are the same as yours Sir I would gladly give my life for any American. You gotta love people like Gary Senise and all of the volunteers in the RISE Program. Ed in Partlow Virginia

I have a small amount automatically deducted from my account every month which goes to the Gary Sinise Foundation and I am retired and on a fixed income. I don't say that for a pat on the back, I say that because if I can give a few dollars to this very worthy organization, so can you! ❤️ 🇺🇲 💙

Wonderful, my concern is will they be able to pay the taxes to keep the house. I would love at this moment to thank Gary Sinise he is one dam good man! So many people have been helped by him and his position; 9/11 survivors battling after effects for example. God bless you sir keep up the good fight!

In many states, 100% disabled Veterans are exempt from property tax.
