El Nido is the paradise of the Philippines. Nowhere on earth are the islands so beautiful, the lagoons so blue and the jungle so green! Join us on a tour through the north of Palawan, one of the world's most special and natural islands. We will visit the Secret Lagoon, Small Lagoon, Big Lagoon, Cadlao Island, Shimizu Island, Miniloc, Bokal Island, Nacpan Beach, Las Cabanas, Marimegmeg Beach and many more!
Earlier you also saw us visiting Bohol, an island with an equally unique nature. You saw the Chocolate Hills and the special tarsiers there. We flew to Palawan and visited one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World: the Underground River. There we stayed on the beach in Puerto Princesa and took you on a tour through the tropical rainforest, the mangrove forests, the open sea and the underground river.
We make our trip through the Philippines during a world tour of one and a half years. We may even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, the Bahamas, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Qatar, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Australia. The next continent Asia and Bohol is already our twentieth destination. We have also been away from home for a year. Follow us on this world tour, first in the Philippines, from Bohol to Palawan and then to many more beautiful destinations! We also cross over to Africa! I lived in the Philippines for 8 years it's heaven. I got back to UK and told my friends about it and we have all go every year on vacation for the past 10 years....its the best place on the planet. Philipinos are brilliant................My favorite place is Davoe.

I just came back from Philippines. I’m half Filipino myself on my moms side. It was my 2nd trip to the Philippines this year. We Flew into Lapu lapu city. My first trip in 2019 we went to Bohol and butanding in oslob. El nido palawan was the destination the following summer in 2020 but covid canceled that. This past trip we went to baracay, moalboal, and Bohol once again. Plan on going back next summer and hoping finally visit el nido palawan🇵🇭

Hi Ana! We enjoyed Palawan a lot. We have been to the Philippines twice and we’ll be back for sure. Unfortunately the weather was a dealbreaker from time to time and it got a lot worse after we left. So we’ll go back in the right season and I want to see those places for sure! Have you subscribed? You’ll probably see more of thé Philippines in the future and next up is now Africa 😁👍🏻

Philippines will experience El Nino by June.. would mean dry season will be extended perhaps all throughout this year.. Balabac Palawan is equally as beautiful as Maldives without expensive resorts.. and try to visit Romblon islands it has Tablas, carabao and cresta de gallo islands but quite remote to travel at the moment not suitable if you have a kid i guess..😅

make sure you try the local buko juice with condenced milk that you'll find roadside as your driving out of puerto princessa. and remember, you don't have to make that long trip to el nido to enjoy palawan. oh, and one last thing, puerto is a thrift store shopper heaven. cool way to be a local. mabuhay

Hi Zenie, I wouldn’t know. I don’t really have the impression that too many companies are owned by foreigners. We stayed at a locally owned hotel and used local tour companies. We always do this and it benefits the locals. It’s also a choice to make when you visit, just make the right one 😁👍🏻

Hi, we booked our hotel in advance. We were there with New Years Eve so we expected high season. I would advise to book your accommodation in advance. Hello, Palawan is pronounced with a stress in the second syllable LA, same is true with Bohol, stress is in the second syllable HOL,

Hi! In English it’s not however 😁👍🏻 places are pronounced differently in different languages.. have you been to Paris? Did you pronounce it French? 😉 I am from the Netherlands, not a single tourist will ever pronounce the names Dutch. That’s all good, because language is a great thing 😍
