Acrylic pouring: Fluid art
My pouring medium used for my current work is a pre mix of 70% “Mont marte clear craft glue and 30% warm water, (most pva glues can be made up with same ratios to make a pouring medium), I add my pouring medium to my paint slowly until I achieve the consistency of pouring cream, approximately 50/50 more pm if needed.
My paint brands mostly used are the Mont marte studio acrylics, dimensions, or pouring paints, Boom Gel stain.
When iv mixed my paints I add 2-4 drops maximum of Helmar silicone, also Australian made, I stir in well.
I always like to mix up my paints and add silicone the day before I’m going to paint, and cover with a damp cloth, as I have found I have much better results.

I like your cup pours when they are thinker, not saying that this one isn’t beautiful!! I just prefer the thicker paint!! It was still interesting to see what happened with thinner paints!! Great work!!

Hi from lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, you and the mixed media Girl keep me so entertained. I'll be glad when I can build up my paints stocked up, I'm 63 and live in the middle of the woods so painting is my new best friend, my girls are about two hours away so a lot of spare time just no spare money, lol, but I do d away some how. I get really happy when I end up with something similar. If you stretch the paint just so it starts looking like something. I love that weird-looking stuff. Surreal abstract something or other.

Love this...I'm a huge sci fi romance writer and ever time I see your designs it reminds me of how I could write a story that incorporates your design like for example a space ship goes thru space and the captain remarks on the beauty of the space to his love interest as they are going thru the space thanks for helping me I'm so close to picking up my pencil to write again i stopped writing in march i literally couldn't write but now i have ideas of stories starting to form thank you so very much for inspiring me and helping us in the usa with your paintings they reach our soul in so many different ways...mikelle
