The inverse the kid used is the correct application. We were taught the number will cross the equal sign bcos our math teachers wanted to make it easierfor us. But in actual sense, you subtract from both sides and thats what the kid calls it as inverse

His parents should never force this kid to be a medical doctor. Most Ghanaian parents have the tendency of forcing their kids into medical school when they find they're smart. This kid could be a physicist, mathematician, engineer, etc.
