About 4 minutes in.. Flip Wilson.. I worked the front desk at a well-known iconic hotel when he arrived as a guest in 1983/84? He didn't sit real well with me at the time as he "grabbed" me for a hug and flashed a huge smile while a camera captured the moment. I was 19 years old at the time. Oh, the memories! LOL!

Mike, you're learning a fair amount about records. There are certain things that experienced record dealers always do - copy of Led Zeppelin 2, check for a Robert Ludwig pressing, copy of Hot Rocks, check for 11-18-71 in the deadwax that indicates alternate takes of Brown Sugar and Wild Horses, copy of Jefferson Airplane Takes Off, check of the early uncensored version. If you know what to look for, you might find a very valuable record.

Great score on the vinyl. I've found and sold several Beatles albums, but not the great find you got. The best one I have had was the Meet the Beatles LP in NM condition. Sold for a little under $100. I've been selling lots of Western PBs as well, also pulp fiction (1950s) does really well.

Media Mail on 99% of my books.

Last time I looked Media Mail does not have insurance by default. A seller should purchase insurance.

Hi Mike, getting ready to start reselling. I’ve done a little sourcing. I am going to start on ebay. It’s just that the shipping seems confusing. Why do you charge shipping on some books but, like on the Chiltons manual, you have free shipping? Am I missing something? Lol. Thanks.

@@bobedwards7927 it’s either built into the price or it’s just pulled out to make the book look more attractive. Price wise. Just figure out the price with and with out the shipping and both should equal the same announcement. So if I charge $14 plus 5.95 shipping it would also look like $19.95 free shipping. It’s just how you want it to lol.

Thanks Mike, great informative video as usual. Coincidentally enough I watched an American Pickers last night that featured the Beatles Butcher's sleeve. Danielle stumped up the cash thinking it was first state, but was actually 3rd! I'm a massive Beatles fan and seeing Paul in concert in London in 2018 was the peak of my gig going, especially when Ringo wheeled out his drum set and Ronnie Wood joined on guitar for 'Get Back'.

All depends on the item and what price generally. Most free shipping items from me are under $30. Most are books. I just look to see how many are doing FREE ETC and then just use my best judgement. I am always the lowest price even if I charge shipping.
