Incredible how my English has improved these days. I understand things that I didn't even hear a week ago, like the balloon; that you had already inflated it 5 days before to let it become so to achieve this effect. No wonder I have pointed stars. I still write via Translator. But if I continue to watch your videos so often, I will soon be writing without a translator.

First I'd like to say a big "thank you" to Gilly for sharing her experiences and helping us to understand how to achieve beautiful works of art. I work in small formats, tiles and photo paper (backside). The balloons are too big, even the 5" one. I use a squishy ball from the Dollar store, it's about the size of a small orange. It works really well for making itty bitty kisses and swipes and it washes up easily.

Hi Gilly, finally can swipe so I am watching your older videos to try to learn the ballooning. I feel so accomplished with my swipe. I just adore the painting. Been trying for months. Your video skills are much improved. I watch everything you do. You are a wonderful person and I appreciate all that you do. I love your balloon kisses and yesterday, I tried the technique out for the first time. What I noticed was that the design/pattern on the balloon after pressing it down and pulling it up was BEAUTIFUL! So instead of wiping it off, I got out some inexpensive white card stock that I had and "stamped it" with the balloon! After the card stock was dry, I cut it up into standard greeting card size....I now have some BEAUTIFUL greeting cards on top of the beautiful balloon kisses on the canvas!
