Would a C clamp with just 2 adjustments do the same thing? 1st adjustment,make hole in end of clamp for chain retainer to pass thru. 2nd adjustment,weld bolt head to the screw end of clamp that has end grounded down to push chain retainer out. There by bypassing having to make the clamping down/ pressing action part of tool. But still excellent and usefull idea.
