This award is a joke so yes. Last year Haaland had insane season and won the treble yet still they gave it to Messi. According to their logic the trophies won have major part in ballon d’or, they gave is to Messi because they rate WC higher than the Treble from Haaland, but if they rate the trophies so much then why didn’t they give the ballon d’or to Alvarez who won both the Treble and the WC. 🤔 as I said, this award is a joke 🙃 I’m not Man City nor Haaland supporter btw.
