@@cindysplace8984 i don’t think this person realises the yarn that was cut off is all still connected to the yarn ball 😂😂😂 after it’s cut it just gets rolled back in like usual.

Al the threads I cut off, from my projects, I don’t throw it away. I have a nice jar of glass, with a lid on. There I put all the cut of threads, and use it, when I made a little thing as a crocheted snowman, and fill it, with that.

I think the surprise was how much yarn got wasted.

Most people who craft don't toss anything left over. They use it as inspiration to create a project that will utilize the scraps left over. It's actually a positive thing to challenge yourself creatively

I agree. But she probably did it that way for beginners, to make it a little easier for them to see the process. Honestly, I thought the same thing! For me, it made the beginning a bit too slow. I did really like how she made sure you could see what she was doing, while she was doing it, it helped to make sure you had your counts & what it was supposed to look like.
